Great video. It baffles me how some show their 150 luxury bag collection. The first question in my mind is: Is your mortgage paid in full? Are you investing into your own life? No way will I make someone else rich before myself.
If you are a confident person, even if you are carrying a fake bag, people will think it is a genuine bag. Bags are just external decorations, the real decoration is yourself. *regbags* provides you with a platform to decorate your appearance, and the bags above are of good quality and low price.
Thank you for saying this. I hope everyone who is hurt, upset, and frustrated over the L.V. Murakami drop watches this. Like you always say, we don't need this, and we don't need to play these games. I am not buying in 2025. I'm done with L.V. and luxury shopping. I don't need it.
I think the so-called authentic products cannot explain anything. The real authentic products are what you have in your heart. The bags bought on *regbags* have the same quality as the authentic products, and the prices are cheap and the after-sales service is guaranteed. When you start to become confident, you will care about these external authentic products.
Girl you are hitting so many good points with the truth! Can you please talk about how some of these resale companies Have been Lowballing us for years when we sell our bags? They’re not an investment after all.
Agree. I do have 2 LV bags and love them but that’s it and I paid cash for them brand new and am grateful. These people with ten, fifty, hundreds of luxury bags probably have tons of debt.
I got irritated when I was the only person in my own lane and when I bought Lv, chanel, hermes etc. Then I saw others of my ppl do as well. Annoying, so I quit buying them
I went to Fashion Valley on launch day of the re-release of Murakami and saw a huge line wrapping around the store. I proceeded to ask myself why I wanted a $450 cles and what was the point of this little black multicolor cles? I walked straight past the LV store and the line.
I was gifted a Louis Vuitton wallet. Carried it around for a while. Went to France. Saw the industry. Hell no to luxury goods. I would rather buy good food and a nights restful sleep. Those luxury goods sit in the shelves collecting dust.

Well... it's my $ and I spend it on what I want. I own my house. I have 0 debt. I reached my retirement goal early. I have several years worth of emergency $ so yeah... if I want it, I don't see it as a problem cuz it's no one's business but my own if I buy another luxury whatever. I definitely don't buy everything I think is nice. My collection is definitely curated.
For 2025 I’m doing what Steve Jobs did……am wearing v-neck boys or men’s black t-shirt (3/pkg or 5/pkg) …… they look great with white pants & jeans & khakis or skirt……… add white shirt or plain jacket/blazer …… not buying jewelry , purses, or expensive anything… get smahrt when it comes to $$$$
I think humans have collected things long before the internet. It may be a hunter/gather instinct in us. I recall my first collection was pencils and cute little erasers that I kept in a pencil box in my elementary school desk in the 1970’s. I did it for myself and never showed them off. We didn’t have the internet. You are correct and as an adult I was definitely influenced to buy certain bags because of youtube videos. You inspired me to purchase a vintage louis vuitton bag. I still have it (4 years now) and I enjoy using it 🎉🎉🎉.
I bought an LV bag on *regbags* before. I always thought the bag was of very good quality. Until yesterday when I went to my friend's house and she showed me the LV bag she bought for $3,900, I realized that her LV bag was almost exactly the same as the one I bought on *regbags* . It was really surprising.
A lot of them make videos then return stuff. I know for a fact especially the ones who do make up and perfumes because I worked at Sephora and i remember how many large returns we would get.
I don't purchase luxury bags for people look at me in a certain way or to send a message that I'm some kind of someone or to even prove something. I bought my bags because I like them, period.
I bought 7 coach outlet bags three years ago and I have no desire to purchase anymore from them but I am carrying the bags they aren't luxury to others but they are to me because any bag over 100 dollars is luxury to my humble self.
I bought a *regbags* bag in 2019, it is LV white catogram speedy. It is counter quality and now has a beautiful honey patina, so the leather is real. I think as long as it makes you happy, there is no need to spend a lot of money on a so-called authentic product.
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *regbags* ,their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me.
This is sooo true. Social media is so one dimensional. Personally, I ALWAYS take what I see in social media with a pound of salt. When I buy jewelry, which I like, I save for it. When I have saved up, THEN I buy.
This is why I buy 5a replicas and shop the preloved market authentic pieces at the fraction of the retail price. Most are buying for trend then resale. Oh, and auctions. Also, the explanation of a real investment, stocks vs luxury items.
@@dailypolishme ahhhh nail polishes! I have a stash in my closet! My addiction has gone from one thing to another and at one point, it was nail polish!!
Bags are absolutely not an investment, and anyone who tells you otherwise is rationalizing. It’s difficult to untangle motivations re: belonging, status, the dopamine rush, love of an aesthetic; and our motivations are rarely just one thing alone, but I do (self-servingly) like to think I’m reasonably immune to status-seeking-I’m just cursed with a particular weakness for LV’s colorful bags. (Cough so I buy reps when they’re good enough cough cough) I do think you let wealthy people off the hook a little too easily here-sure, they can do what they want with their wealth, but they also have a vested interest in perpetuating this exclusivity and snobbery and status gaming. Just because they don’t face devastating financial consequences for participating doesn’t mean they don’t buy into and actively promote the same toxic ideologies that also drive some of the common folk’s luxury-seeking behavior.
@@ceeslaw you make very valid points, all of which I have rationalized and done myself! I don’t generally say wealthy people this or that because I know many wealthy people who are not status seekers, and I find the snobby ones often expose themselves in the comments viscously for not being “like them” or not living up to the approval (of a total stranger). No need for me to expose them!! 💕
I love your honesty about everything. When someone walks down the street carrying *regbags* , no one can tell if it's real or fake because you can't analyze it much. The reason I hate LV and why I don't buy them anymore is that many people will assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's annoying. I once had a woman walk up to me and ask me if my bag was "real". After spending nearly $2000 on a bag, being asked that question was so offensive that I stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and mistakenly judge it as real or fake. It's very annoying
A few years ago I bought an LV bag at *regbags* . Last week I took it to the LV store in my town to have it repaired. The clerk checked my bag and immediately told me that it was of great quality. She pulled a current bag from stock and compared the tags and I could see no discrepancies.
I prefer high quality items, I mean there's a huge difference between Audi and Kia - I would rather buy a one owner, low mileage Audi with maintenance records than a brand new Kia any day. I spent 26 years on the road working for nursing agencies and yes I had my Audi's, and I live out west near the Rockies and those cars pretty much saved my life and kept me safe - I have given myself permission to buy these kind of things because they serve me in a very practical way. It's not about ego and looking flashy, it's about having the stability that the high quality product gave me. And the same goes with you know things that I use everyday like my handbag, I wanted it to last forever, I want that quality & very good craftsmanship. I have a high-quality, luxury brand handbag that's at least 16 years old that looks like it's new and I get compliments on it all the time but here's the rub, I bought it off of eBay for a fraction of what it costs new. In fact I bought two of these handbags, white version for summer and a Black version for winter and I think one of them only cost like $18 and the other one might have been closer to $30 - new, individually these bags probably cost upwardsly $800 to $900. And I did the same thing with designer eyeglass frames - these are Versace and I got 2 of them cheaper then what one pair of frames were at Walmart. I like quality and I don't care if it's new or used as long as the Price is right!
