He should be really good for any new players. Also for f2p and light spenders who started from 1.0, I have a huge backlog of resources so building him would not even feel that bad. Coming from someone who skipped Ellen and had to run Anton dps early on, he is so clunky so I am happy to replace him.
He is def a step up from anton, and yes for an f2p and general enjoyer harumasa can take u far, but i cant say he'll cross the finish line of battle tower floor 100 or such difficult gamemodes unless u're super commited/ big gamer

This patch alone is set to nerf some agents thanks to decibel changes, If new endgame is hard on top of that, well your gonna want to pull for the new characters. There's no content that forces certain team comps, and so variety isn't even mandatory. I see videos every day of people beating floor 376 of the tower with just anby or something like that. This game's end game is not that challenging or demanding yet, and the cast is not thin on fun, usable characters. Getting Harumasa is going to be a Godsend for my account, since I don't have any limited units yet, and both him and Miyabi will probably be forming my Shiyu Defense teams! Comparing Harumasa to Anton : 1. He got stronger gap closer. 2. Better grouping especially with EBA 1,2,3 combo. 3. Less interruptible attacks thanks to fast attack animations and room to cancel. 4. Does more damage, of course.

I honestly like him, but between Miyabi and the odds of getting a limited support associated with the new drive set directly afterwards, I think a free base copy with event wenjin will suffice. They're undoubtedly expecting everyone to be ripe to swipe after Miyabi banner, and if we were to get our first limited support in 1.5, I think its going to be a highly sought after unit, and players will regret not saving something for them. I'm just gonna go for M0R1 Miyabi and hold tight until we learn more about the upcoming units personally.

He is worth investing in IF you have nothing better yet. Realistically his best team options are all worse than all the limited character's team options. He's like a bandaid for players without Yanagi, Grace or m6 Anton. If there is any other limited DPS in his team I highly suspect that using Harumasa will just be DPS loss. I don't think mono electric is doing anything for him, and you're better off getting the def shred, disorder and m6 15% crit from Nicole instead.
I cant answer that till next week, because official numbers/theory crafting/footage is not allowed till release, look forward to my analysis when 1.4 drops!
