And Brae would walk 500 miles and he would walk 500 more. Just to be that man that walked a thousand miles to shoot some bangers for us all
When the real world returns, I'm gonna fly out and pay you to take me on some good hikes, brother.
Oh get out of here! You’re welcome anytime man. Would love to show you some pnw spots.
It's impressive that you do double the distance of anybody else on these hikes because you're always going backwards and forwards setting the camera up lol. Great work, mate!
The fact that every shot in this video is a complete banger, makes every inch of that hike worth it. Stay safe!
Locked down in France, but traveling through your camera lens and discovering amazing places every sunday. Thanks Brae! Good work as always, peace
This is so cool to hear, and big reason why I enjoy making these videos each week! Thank you.
The effort in walking to and from the camera just for continuity in travel shots does not go unappreciated
Imagine walking up a hill and then walking back down to get your camera for the b roll shot. The dedication is unrivalled
lol you saved my Sunday i was about to choke myself with a cable release lol.
When the image moves to the right to indicate pano about to happen is a good feel because you know it's an epic shot. Awesome work!
My favorite moment of the week !!
I love having that weekly photo trip, and I hope that you have as much pleasure making these videos as your community has to watching them ;)
I only hope that this rhythm of publishing one video a week won't deter your love for photography. Keeping your passion and love for photography is what matters the most !
Your work and your lifestyle is a huge inspiration for me
Funny you mention that because I’ve actually been having an issue with that recently. Definitely removes some of that innocent passion when it becomes a weekly routine. Working on ways to switch it up so I continue to shoot with the same intention I had when I started: for fun. Thanks for this comment!
Ooohh man, What a Place to hike in.. ❤
I always find it so impressive that you can hike up a mountain in about 4 minutes. Absolute super human
Been having rubbish weather here so not been able to go out and shoot recently. Nice to be able to watch you hike in this beautiful place. Great video once again, Brae!
Thanks Sam! This was the last hike before weather went to shit :/ here comes winter lol
Finally caught back up on your recent videos, you're photos are beyond beautiful
absolutely lovely
Unconditioned loved
"I am good" put the humbleness in the back seat and talk your talk Brae you def earned the right to flex a lil lol. Idk which is better those gorgeous reflection shots or that priceless peace and quiet all I know is I'm happy I tuned in and got to experience both.
Haha thanks sir! I was just referring to my “let’s see how that *pans* out” pun, and saying that damn my jokes are good not my photos lolol 😂. I appreciate the kind words and support!
"These came with mayo, dude? It sent me into a different dimension." Amazing photos! Incredible places. I'm loving all of these. Cheers!
Nice to see you again.
All your photographs are gorgeous! Interesting how you stitch together the images into one panorama.
Really like the panoramas that you have been doing. Wonderful location
This is incredible Brae! I absolutely love the panos you’ve been doing.
You did amazing shots again. Im really glad to see this before sleep. Now im dreaming from you and me hiking in switzerland in 2021 😎😛
Great Video again 🤜🏻🤛🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Best wishes Roman
Wow, just wow!! What a beautiful place and amazing cinematography and photography!
Pity where I'm at isn't blessed with magnificent landscapes like these. A dream! Thanks for this man, am jealous.
4:34 the view is just amazing
@@BraeHunziker This videos inspire me to earn more and have a decent camera.
Loving your videos lately man! Hope you stay inspired making these amazing videos back to back 👏🏼
Insane ! I live surrounded by fields (and in lockdown now) so this kind of landscapes are mind blowing to me !
I really love your video. Not just because of the photography but simply for relaxation. But I have the feeling that actually filming these videos is less relaxing than watching them... ;) Keep up the great work!
Haha you’re not wrong, but I do have a great time doing it. Thanks for watching :)
lol! I loved this video brother... a bunch of Great photos... and at the end you were like... I'm not looking forward to the hike down... then you go knee deep into the snow... ahaha... I love it! Keep grinding brother! You inspire me to shoot way more... and I shoot a lot...lol
How do you always nail the mirror up shots! 😂Awesome film and loved the images, man. What an amazing area.
Amazing location, and you captured it perfectly! Your dedication and output really motivates me to do more hikes myself... :)
Excellent. And whenever you have a weekend of bad weather do a video of on composition :)
Woaaaahhhh that place is insane mann, I mean the moment you sat down to open the sandwich, the silence of the place and the insane visuals around you, a man and his world basically👏👏👌
I have the same feeling after all your videos - I suddenly have to visit Washington
very beautiful country bro 🤙🏼
Man! These photos are killer. Tempted to try Ektachrome now 👌
Thanks dude! Had to do quite a bit of color correction. I believe I prefer Fuji’s slide films.
Man the photos are always 🔥 I like the colors and the composition! Great video btw 🤙🏼
Got the notification on my phone, watched your video right away and LOVED it! Great job as always .
Managed to loan a 67 from a friend today! Came straight to your channel to binge some videos and get some inspiration 🙌🏻
Always love the vibe, recommend checking out Mapache. They’re a solid band with a unique vibe!
Fantastico!!! I wish I can go back to take photos with my Mamiya 7 II or Hasselblad 500C/M next year, like what you did.Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful. The scenery is great, as were your compositions. I liked the Portra colours more than the Ektar, contrary to their usual "operation areas".
Another 'Banger'!
I thought that mountain view was great until you pulled that sandwich out. Sandwich + cool view = good time 😂👌🏻
4:30 is the most epic scene of someone eating a sandwich I’ve ever witnessed ...... great vid and beautiful shots!
Amazing images 😍
Loved the video and the photos! But man it must've taken forever to film yourself in all those clips 😂
Love your videos (especially with the Bronco GS 1-boohoo) but was wondering what light meter you would recommend. I noticed you have an App but presumably, a dedicated LM is perhaps more reliable for outdoors?
Yeah I’ve been using mylightmeter pro app. But would def recommend an external. Hard to recommend any since I have yet to use one.
It's crazy you produce a super cool video and the next week you be like: annother one
you should make a video of shooting a whole roll with the mirror up at this point. they always seem to still turn out good anyway so 😂
I wish I was there to bring the camera back to you after every scene recorded lol
Just love your Video. And also my most beautiful hike were in Bayern (Germany Bavaria) I just love the Mountains
Great video as always, I can't wait till I'm able to go hiking in different state. Also what kind of salomon shoes do you use for your hikes and what trail is this?
Beautiful! Have you ever thought about using a ND-filter on your shots, with lakes in, just to smooth out the water completely with a long shutter?Or are you not a fan of that look?
Yes I have! I just haven’t gotten around to getting an ND for my Pentax glass yet lol. I do enjoy that look though!
Think you should shoot MLU all the time...:) Seriously though, great shots and vid...
Love your videos and photos! Most of the photos appeared to be taken handheld and the DOF appear to be deep - what shutter speeds were they?
please Philippines 🇵🇭 next!!
I need to get back to shooting again, but I keep getting empty film for some reason, maybe my shutter is broken though it seems just fine. Nonetheless, Brae, you're amazing.
I’m sorry to hear that, one of the joys of shooting film... trying to figure out why your negs are blank 😅 appreciate ya checking out the vid!
I'm in Enumclaw Washington, what hike is this?
great framing, but I feel like i looked at the same 3 images for 10 minutes lol
Yo man great job! I just started following you a little bit ago when searching for Pentax 67 reviews and I must say in a few short months of watching your videos you production quality has def improved! Love the different angles the lighting and just general feel of the video flow.
Separate note... I'm for sure looking into the Pentax 67ii and the 105 lens and yes for the newer ones they are quite $$ compared to the just 67. I'm also considering a Fuji GFX50r and say 63mm 2.8 lens. Considering they are about the same size although one being digital and analog and lest just say almost the same price which one would you rather have? I already have a Hasselblad 500cw which I LOVE shooting with and can still crop to 645 if I want and well the 6x6 is still way larger than even the GFX50 sensor but as far as Dynamic range and pure resolution and well shooting film do you think the Pentax is still way more capable than a digital camera of that caliber? Sure it's apple to oranges, and even with film you can essentially scan the 6x7 negative and get larger resolution than the Fuji but If I wanted MF and the ability to push pull my files in post and spend 4k I'm torn between the two.
I already shoot with an XT3 for digital work and 26mp is still plenty that thats sort of why I'm leaning Pentax is because I don't really NEED 50mp files for sharing on IG or web, but I could easily get huge file scans out of the 67 and print larger scale *** which is ultimately my goal ** and I think they would look more natural to the eye and not so "digital"
Hard for me to decide for you because it’s mainly personal preference. If you’re looking for shear image quality, probably get the fuji because it’ll deliver great, clean images and you won’t be paying for each shot you take. But if you’re looking for a slower and unique experience then film is a great way to go. I love the picture quality and colors I get from film, but I mainly shoot it because of the experience and slower workflow.
@@BraeHunziker Yeah that is sort of the way I'm leaning with your first part of your comment. I LOVE shooting my Hasselblad and I can get some fantastic images out of that, but rarely would I use it for a pro project or paid work. The GFX would give me that digital resolution and flexibility in post and I mean I can always make digital look like film but not so much the other way around.
What kind of MF camera are you shooting with? I've been looking for a good MF camera for landscapes and would love to know what you used for these great pictures!
If you’d like to grab a print of one of these photos, there is a link in the description. Thank you all for the support ❤️
