This set looked awesome when I saw it announced a few weeks back. Only problem is…. I don’t think my wife would allow it in the house lol 😂. Looking forward to this review.

That looks great! I definitely prefer the skyline to the shadow box because it's so much more colorful. The shadow box has more play features and a cool Batmobile, but I would only ever display either one and I'd much rather look at the colorful one.
I put it downstairs and it is sort of close to the shadow box. This thing definitely catches the eye, whereas the shadow box goes completely unnoticed.

For the love of God, why doesn't Lego add some lighting to this set?!?!? This one in particular is crying out to have some random windows and foot lighting that would light up the different layers of the build. Now we have to wait for another third party lighting vendor spend another 50 to 75 dollars to bring it to a whole other level...

As amazing as this set is, I feel it is inevitable it will go on a discount. My guess is 20% after 6 months or so.
Having seen this in person at your house when we filmed bricking news, I have to say it is just as impressive of a build as you say in the video. Really a neat set.
Ok, you guys, 100% sold me on this for some time next year to be the 1 and only art set I will get as right now I am still needing to do the spiderman art and I have a perfect spot for this new batman one already. Great video as always.

@alexnunes Yeah, it's the last art set I know I want, and it's probably the only thing for 2024. I will also get it since other than the modular that's coming in December, that's all I need in 2025 since I am in my dark age, I think partially with just not having time to build.
Lego should think about a large scale skyscraper from batman because there are alot of nice looking biuldings in this

You don't have to be a fan to appreciate this set. I've never seen the show, but do want that set! It's terrific. Just wait until they make lighting for it!

I really hate the art sets but the enthusiasm of you both, in particular Mindy because she's not a huge Batman fan, have made me love the set. I would never have thought of buying this set, but now I'm convinced it would be an awesome backdrop for the Batman sets I do have.

@@alexnunes Let's face it, a few hundred pounds/dollars when been Lego collector is a drop in the ocean these days sadly. The bigger problem is space, I must have sold several thousands of pounds worth of my Lego collection over the last 12 months, but still I don't seem to have gained any space. Hopefully, with this been reletively flat, finding the space should be a little easier 😂
I’m not a Batman fan and I won’t be investing in this set with the price, but I told Jason from the moment you took it out of the box on your unboxing episode this looks like a really enjoyable build. And from Mindy’s reaction, it looks like I was spot on.
It's not for everyone, but it sure is a lot of fun. Mindy really fell in love with it. I think there's a good chance it will go on discount though. $300 is a lot to drop on an "Art" set.

I am not a Batman Animated Series follower, however I loved the look of this set and having seen your review which highlighted more of the extra points and Easter Eggs, it has made me want to save up and buy it. It is lovely and the red sky adds a great colourful contrast to the city buildings. It was lovely to see Mindy and your enthusiasm of the set and Lego 👍

This looks like a moc I saw at a Lego show last summer in Fishersville Virginia. Don't know if it's based off of it. The moc was taller, had a small street sticking out and a helicopter flying. The rest looks the same with the same colors etc.

How many stickers in the set? I think it looks amazing but art with a lot of stickers not very premium in my opinion
Sorry for my late rely, but there were over 50 stickers. I think close to 60. Most of these are the characters who are placed on the 2x2 grey tiles.
Great looking set I just wish they would have added a Robin minifigure.
I wonder if they limited the set to 4 and he didn't make the cut. I think I would have taken him over Cat women.
