Really great review! We are on level 1and my son is really thriving with it. I love that Kathryn Gomes shares her thoughts on social media and how she builds and uses the curriculum. It's nice that she turors high school and ACT/SAT prep, because she sees what students struggle with and need more of😊
Apologia Math seems like a solid curriculum. However, being secular, I do not use this curriculum because of a constant reminder and reference to God. It would be great if they removed those, so becoming more inclusive and catering to a wider audience. So I use Singapore Math Primary 2022 which I feel like a math curriculum for everyone.
I’d say 20 minutes would be a nice, round average. Sometimes less, sometimes more depending on the level, the lesson, and the opening activity/skill practice (sometimes those are especially fun and we stick with them a little longer).

I love that you refer to tests as evaluations!
Is there enough review? About how long is new concept focused on before moving to a new topic? Thanks?
Looks amazing! So we’ll thought out.

The only religious portion of this curriculum is in the introduction to each chapter. Easily skipped if that’s not for you.
About how long does it take to get through a lesson? I have 3 children 3 different grades

Do you know if they plan to add a grade every year?
Yes, level 6 will be released next spring. Unfortunately, that’s the highest level the author plans to do.
