    Only real problem we had with premium bulkhead seats was that they made us fold the screen away half an hour before landing which was a bit annoying as we were row 1 centre three so nothing to look at apart from the bulkhead, nice to be able to stretch your legs right out though, that was when people didn't decide it's a convenient short cut to the toilet .

    Hi guys great video,just a quick question do you know if the arm rest on the outside of the seats lift up at all?
    Only we have those exact same seats 1J & 1G (This might be the 787-9 model now it is 5 years in the future)
    Only asking as one of our party is very large and worried about the actual seating space so is wondering if the arm rests lift up to avoid being wedged in.
    Thanks guys 👍

    • @5iveoceanshells

      @silverbubble98 5 років тому

      Alex Northey: Centerline Aviation This is bang on- tui only allow one hand luggage case per person and no additional personal item so for the first time this year I will be taking a suitcase on board to house all of my photography equipment and another member of my party will have a suitcase onboard that contains his medical equipment for the other end. Nothing to do with status and simply due to the bag space each passenger needs in my opinion

    • @traciewinn8919
      @traciewinn8919 6 років тому +2

      Suplee we flew economy on our last two trips, the food is better than we have previously had when flying but it is the basic plastic forks and comes in cardboard boxes which is fine. The entertainment is exactly the same as Premium and there is more legroom than most flights. You obviously dont get free access to an airport lounge but they are cheap enough anyway. The seating is 3x4x3. first time we flew we were lucky enough to book the only two seats together at the rear of the plane, tried to book the same seats the following year but the plane we were flying on did not have the option but we still sat in the rear seats as we get served first and you can catch the crew on the way back also, lol. Drinks are still free but not free flowing like they are in Premium but you can go to the rear galley and get your own, they did stop drinks appx 1.5 hours before landing in Gatwick but I think that depends on the crew. We are flying Premium this year, the only reason being, last year a rather large gentleman was sat next to me on the way home, I dont mind sitting by anyone but he took over my seat also (i am 5ft and 8 stone so i am not large) he didn't mean to but he had no option, it was the most uncomfortable flight I have ever had. If we could guarantee the 2 seats together we would hapilly stay in economy, hope this helps 😁😁

    Going premium on the Dreamliner in august and can choose seats just now and can't decide to take the first row in premium ( exact seats u have ) or the very last row with no1 behind us, did you have a window at your seat ? And we're the TVs a bit of a pain in the arse the way they were ? A would imagine because there not in the seat in front of u that would be annoying ? Look forward to hearing from you

    • @CsabaJonas
      @CsabaJonas  6 років тому

      Hi Gary. Yes we had a window but I think every row had one. I had no problem with the location of the tv. In the other rows if the person front of You moving the the back of their chair You need to adjust the viewing angle on the tv otherwise I did not see anyone had problem whit that. The first row will give You the most space.

    Not a patch on the Premium lounge in Birmingham, food, decor etc. Thomson upgrade slightly better than B.A whose staff thought one whisky and soda was enough for anyone on a 9 hour flight judging by the looks I received when I asked for a second and no, I had not been drinking prior to take off.

      @@ianholden7 Nope 😊 I'm TUI Cabin Crew, and have been flying for 17 years. I would miss my all inclusive exotic trips, my wonderful friends, free travel, and the MONEY, too much. 😉😅
      I will definitely not be going to live in Dubai, in an Emirates building flat-share with foreign strangers, or be willing to work for the tiny amount of time off they get, very short trips, and very rude passengers.
      I'll be sticking with my happy passengers, my 7 night St Lucia trips, 5 night Phuket's, week long Barbados, Aruba's, etc etc, and the rest of the Caribbean, US, Canada and Asia, thank you 😎

      @@ianholden7 I'm trying to say that TUI, which has taken incredible care of me and all my colleagues, given us wonderful trips all over the world, with a much higher number of days spent "downroute" (number of nights spent in our All Inclusive resorts on trips.
      (The best travel company to work for in the UK I believe) and dramatically above average time off at home, all within a 20 minute commute from my home to my airport base.
      When I hear the wonderful comments from our passengers as they are leaving the aircraft, gives a real sense of pride.
      "I love my job" is a phrase that you will only hear TUI and Virgin Atlantic employees say in this country.
      Feel free to message me. I like a good convo and you seem ideal 😊

    Premium Economy??? Looks just like economy...actually worse than the real economy class of the major carriers...

      For a package holiday company and charter airline, this is the best in the business. Just look how full it is. TUI have done a great job of knowing exactly what their passengers will like.
