I'm going for 2 years to study Arabic and physics and math. Then I'm joining the navy and gonna try for BUD/S to try to become a SEAL. It's a life goal

Very. I’m class of ‘84 L-2. Our outfit had Korean Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Irish Americans, Scottish Americans, a Honduran, a Spaniard and I’m a seventh generation American from England. We came from large and small cities. We had a number of cadets from Michigan oddly enough and they helped form the first A&M ice hockey extramural team

I got news about Texans so I'm not sure about it as whole
+royaltornado more conservative, college station is a college town and i would say its pretty safe, most people are open minded- of course you have a few "racists" but its not common in the university. Texas A&M is a really great school over all.

berit Yes! in this fall, so I hope everything is gonna be ok. I know that A&M is a very good university. However, my concerns are about the city and the people there.
royaltornado the city is definitely a college town- but the people there are great! I've toured there 2 times and everyone there is nice! I wouldn't worry too much- the school is classic, friendly and inviting.
Texas A&M has students from everywhere; south Texas, East Texas, West Texas and North Texas. If you looking for diversity and fun college experience definitely don't come to "closet station"
