yo stelios sick vid, I got 2 questions. First why did u buy the heads when couldn't u have just gotten them for free from school or didn't u have other white ones that u were using already? Second when the season comes will you have to replace the stx shaft with a maverik shaft since the brand deal villanova has with maverik? thank you

If you want to dye a head black first you have to dye it a really bright yellow then after rinsing it off in a different pot dye it black I hope this helps if you try it again

Stelios! This vids you guys make are great. Very well done. Something I would love to chart with you both about is you can FULLY break in a pocket that is game ready in less than 2 minutes. As you said "the pocket is breaking in a little bit", from my perspective, that stick should be fully stretched out before you use it, thats is what I doo for my college guys at Harvard as well as all the MLL and PLL guys I do sticks for. I would love to talk more if you're interested!

You may not be completely happy with it but on our end these heads look haaaaaard, I’d rock both for sure
If you you dye the the head yellow first then dye it black it comes out a lot better. Throne did a really good video about it

From what i can see pattern is top string on second sidewall on third start, skip ksi, ksi, skip ksi, ksi, si on same hole, si, si, si, skip si, one si skipping one, finish
In my opinion that blue one looks better than if it was black. I’ve found that waiting for black dye to come closer to a boil instead of a simmer yields better results.

Maybe it’s been said. But. If you dye it Yellow first. It goes to black faster and cleaner. Apply decals. Dye it golden yellow. Then black. Take off decals. Dip in blue you set homie

its a bunch of SI's all the way through with the exception of one sidewall hole where there are two knots in it. but it looks like: start sidewall on third hole, skip, si, si, skip, si, the weird double knot thing, si, si, si, skip, si, one, one to tie off
@@zach_quilici the first four interlocks are knotted. The last hole is a down 1, and the second to last is an up one.
Also looks like the 5th mesh diamond has a double knot on the 9th sidewall hole. Count them yourself to be sure...

I tried making my head black marble for my first dye, all the marble spray didn’t stay on the head and the dye came out a dark purple 💀💀💀😭😭😭

If you want the stick to be black, you should dye it yellow first, then dye it black.

LaxDipDye is huge gimmick in my opinion. Do they have a ton of colors? Yes. Does it take a chemical engineer to use their product? Pretty much.
I don't know many people who own a pot big enough to boil 2 gallons of water, and if they do own one, they probably don't own it to exclusively dye heads. And if you only have one gallon of water, you're supposed to measure out half a packet of dye powder which is pretty difficult to do unless you have a super precise scale.
I really wish they would reformulate their product to be used with one gallon of water, which is much more manageable for an everyday person to use.
I have had nothing but problems with their product, even when using the right measurements.
I'd suggest using Rit DyeMore, or OG Rit Dye for dying heads. Way more consistent, and you don't have to try and measure out the powder to fit into your water supply.
use Throne Powder Black - not Laxdip
First rule of dying black is never dye your stick black! Always comes out terrible.
