Hi, All the best for your boards exam😊 See, Mathematics will be there in engineering, in first year you have to study everything in common, for all the streams of engineering. From second year there will be specialisation classes. So, mathematics will be there, you will have to work hard, but nothing is impossible, if you really want to take btech biotechnology, then go ahead, but also think about all the perspective of jobs, your interest, good colleges and everything. Sorry to say but it is not compulsory that we have to take maths in class 12 for btech in biotechnology. Alot of colleges provide this course like lpu and so on
And then once you take any such step by opting any unique option, is the time you get trapped and repent for the rest of your life. What is correct , that way should be followed for a good future, not something which is easy and rare.

Search for colleges which has research facility in Neuroscience and also look for a guide in the same field in the same college. PS: I am not fully sure, but once check with Manipal University Jaipur Campus, I think they have this subject Neuroscience.
See, if the college will have a good faculty they will teach properly, you will be able to cope with mathematics. Btech Biotech will give you more options to earn.

Hii, If TCS comes for placements, then it's really good. If you are in second year, then study the things properly for now. Side by side prepare for placement interview, practice speaking fluently, work on your personality, you should look presentable. But in most and the top most you will see that Bsc Biotechnology will be a 3 year program and once you head for MSc which is 2 year program there you will get specialisation as Med Biotechnology, Genetics, Bioinformatics etc. In fact Manipal has this system and this system is really good. Even if someone does 4 year ug in Biotechnology that will be equivalent to 3 year Bsc Biotechnology, then that one extra year is not going to make any difference in career. Because good highly paid jobs will be available only after masters.

Mam i opted for btech biotech in mit manipal, Karnataka. I had PCMB in +2, my maths is ok ok...not so much strong like other engineering students. I want to know that can we go to research field after pursuing btech degree?? Like many people told that bsc degree is research oriented, but i want to pursue btech degree and want do to research in further studies
If you are in MIT Manipal, you can visit School of life sciences Manipal, this department is just outside your back gate from Venugopal temple. Go and meet the professor there, tell them you want to do research after btech they will guide you better and definitely help you with multiple ideas . All the best.

But in most and the top most you will see that Bsc Biotechnology will be a 3 year program and once you head for MSc which is 2 year program there you will get specialisation as Med Biotechnology, Genetics, Bioinformatics etc. In fact Manipal has this system and this system is really good.
Even if someone does 4 year ug in Biotechnology that will be equivalent to 3 year Bsc Biotechnology, then that one extra year is not going to make any difference in career. Because good highly paid jobs will be available only after masters.
I have confused state of mind whether I opt for Btech in biotechnology or BTech in bio informatics? Which sector has the more wider job opportunities..

Mam i opted for btech biotech in mit manipal, Karnataka. I had PCMB in +2, my maths is ok ok...not so much strong like other engineering students.

If you are in MIT Manipal, you can visit School of life sciences Manipal, this department is just outside your back gate from Venugopal temple.
Go and meet the professor there, tell them you want to do research after btech they will guide you better and definitely help you with multiple ideas .
