- HIIII EVERYONE!!! You guys HIGHLY requested this video after you saw my BATTLE of the HIGHLIGHTERS go down! I got SO many comments and tweets about using more drugstore makeup on my channel! I thought what better way to kick off the new year, then to do a FULL FACE MAKEUP TUTORIAL using ONLY E.L.F. PRODUCTS!!!! Since their highlighter was the winner, I picked that brand and went to Walgreens and their website is get EVERYTHING I needed for this video!! Only thing I forgot were lashes (SORRY!) but I think the final look didn't need them!

the same and since my parents are going to america in a few weeks my mom asked what I wanted so I said I want the E.L.F Eyeshadow Palette Mad for Matte 1and 2 and Illuminating Palette, Beautifully Bare Total Face Palette Soft & Subtle, Aqua Mist Beauty Primer Mist, Highlighting Brush and the Baked Highlighter 2 different colors Moonlight Pearls & Blush Gems because their a little bit more cheaper in the s than here in Australia and also a few things i can't get yet the price of the eyeshadow in Australia is $30 and US $10 so i save a lot so i can't wait till my parent go and come back (: and also I'm getting a shit ton or Real Techniques brushes cause they are a heck load cheaper example one brush set coast in Aus cost almost $50 and in USA $10-25 for any sets

mary salazar - a general rule for concealer is to use two shades lighter than your foundation :)
Everything is like a $1-5 with elf cosmetics. The fact that they still make a quality makeup is just a big bonus.

Is the fact that you wear a lot of luxury products, yet you are not a cosmetic snob about checking out lower cost drug store products, you go in with not just a experimental attitude, but a give it your all positive and hopeful chance!

Jeffree makes no secret that she loves her luxury products, along with quality ingredients, yet reviewing products for the interest of his channel, informing and attracting the diverse demographics of her viewers, and along the way making a buck, and a damn good, informative, believable, and interesting infomercial. There is no denying he is as talented producing a a great review for a company with a product that will attract the masses, as he is a talented artist, that can paint a face wheather its luxury makeup products or products from the kitchen, (as I did, when I was young, and wasn't allowed to wear makeup..I'm still proud of that and and still use kitchen products when in need or want of a specific color).
He makes it work gurl..
So try to view & learn what she is doing on many levels, and appreciate her huge variety of talents. I truly believe you would have to live a lifetime to peel off the many layers of Jeffree Starr. Am I in my twenties, being a big fan of JS, appreciating his range of intelligence, expertise and talent?..nope, I'm straight up 60 years old, not waiting in meet and greet lines, I don't yet even own any of Jeffrey Starr products, and I wish I could even afford the skin care line of products he uses, but you don't trip on this type of person that often, so appreciate and learn from him. I think a variety of companies not limited to the cosmetics industry, entrepreneurs, people in sales industry or business courses could actully use Jeffree's videos to exemplify great business strategies and techniques. Just sayin!
I really like that he reviews lower price point items and brands and isn't afraid to give them credit when credit is due. Just because he's worth a lot he doesn't think a product is superior just because it's expensive.

I don't know that much about him but I think it's really cool that he doesn't mind using the cheapest stuff even though it doesn't promise quality when he can easily afford the luxury brands. Even better that he goes into it with an open mind and isn't afraid to say "YES this $4 highlighter killed it" or "umm no this isn't working for me." I appreciate that he can be real with his viewers especially when he doesn't get anything out of it, you know? Especially since he has his own brand! So in a way, he's basically trying the 'competitor's' product and sometimes telling us that, yeah you can't go wrong with his $30 Jeffree Star product, but this $3 dollar shit is good too! That's pretty cool if you think about it like that

I disagree NYX used to be like elf, and I remember them being cheap and affordable. Now since everyone started buying and hyping the company, they jacked their prices on most of their product from 2-3 dollars, to 9-15. Of course they have more quality to their line than before, but it doesn't compare to elf as far as affordability and what you're getting for your dollar. Plenty of times that elf was better than any other high priced makeup item in my opinion. (Tried and tested.)

It was fun to see him use so many products on this video that I use as well. Although I didn't like how the eye look turned out (the orange was to heavy under the eye) Jeffree did a phenomenal job demonstrating each product.
