- Tuning the 350Z drift car and doing drift events in The Crew Motorfest 2023. I gotta a pretty good rank in the leaderboard as well considering I'm playing on a steering wheel. Drifting physics are very similar to previous Crew games.

Yeah cause it's impossible to lose those drift events they don't actually have any goal. Also 19k is basically nothing

hey goose! in this game im not sure why but upgrading tires on a drift build makes it easier to hold drifts and recover from losing grip

the crew games vehicle upgrades are different from other games, for ex. if you keep upgrading your parts the speed increases. All the vehicles have a level upgrade cap in the crew 2 i think it was 250 on most vehicles, and the parts all have "perks" my favorite being the increased percentage of money gained, which increases how much money yoy get from races and stuff. and if you get the same rarity and "perk" on all the parts on your vehicle theres a set bonus. I wish i had a driving sim setup, and pc that could run this game, lmaoo. looks like its a heavy competitor for fh5.

You have to turn off TRC and Driftsupport, to be in full controll. TRC and Driftsupport are there for Controller Players.
Goose if u go in game settings, u can make drifting A LOT easier by changing some of the settings that are on

@@stevetodd7030 yeah they definitely do. Gold edition will be on sale for Christmas definitely. Probably $79 instead of $99 is my educated guess. And $49 for base game.
@@kriskater Thanks for the reply. I live in England but I suspect that would still be the case. However I just bought the standard edition from Amazon for £53 which is cheaper than Ubisoft and Xbox store.

goose you should disable drfit assist, bc it is what makes the steering like need for speed games
To be honest, I'm not convinced by watching a few vids that the drift/driving physics are any good which is a shame, probably a fun game on controller but we really need some realistic open world driving games.

@@kriskater imo it's really fun but I will need friends soon i think. You only can play the playlists and after that it will be tricky. I'm playing with a wheel and the lower cars are incredible but hypercars are kinda on crazy rails. Overall until now I'm very happy.

TIP FOR DRIFTING: Use nos and then pull the handbrake. This will make you better at turns... I HOPE!
I’m having difficulty drifting with a wheel. I can drift decently well on GT7 but when it comes to this one it’s almost impossible. I would love a video of you going over the settings
quick question - do the drift events use different physics from the races and free roam? it kinda looks like they do :/
huge pet peeve of mine when a game's physics engine can't handle different styles of driving. makes everything way too stiff. like i'm suddenly not trying to drift a virtual car, but i'm just trying to play a drifting minigame.
