5 thick for apa is a must no matter what, but beyond that any good build is fine, I like fat surv/comb apa

Apa easily wins 1v1 with rex. Just keep your tail to them and out of its mouth, just whip when it gets close. 2 rexes is more difficult but certainly not impossible. Apa isnt good vs 3.0 rex sure, but its fine for now.
