Try roti canai from Mamak shops, bak kut teh (pork in herbal soup) in Klang, nasi lemak (everywhere but sold mostly in the morning), peanut pan cake from Petaling Street, go to the night market in Cheras ( open only on Wednesdays).

@yozzzuum try "TTDI night market" it's small but sufficient. Jalan Alor is very touristy. And food street. Google it up, to get some ideas. It's commutable via MRT KAJANG Line. TTDI is also places for eateries. TTDI night market held every Sunday 5pm onwards til 10pm.
Bitter Goud can be eaten in different ways. You should try eating Hakka Young Tau Foo. They are the best dish not many tried. One of the best is in Puchong.

NSK is one of the most cheapest supermarket in Malaysia. There is 2 type of NSK, one is normal NSK and another on a bit more expensive is NSK Grocer. NSK grocer the facilities is more comfortable and clean while normal NSK offer for cheaper option and in bulk. Normal average supermarket like Lotus, Hero supermarket, Giant, Mydin and Aeon Big usually will be a bit more expensive than local market. High-end supermarket like Aeon, Jaya Grocer and Village Grocer are usually more expensive and have a lot of imported goods
They were comparing the prices at the mart with those of the wet market they went earlier. Of course, most of the produce sold at the wet market are more expensive because they are local products, whilst those sold at the mart are mostly imported from China.
That vitagen drink is similar to yogurt drink, but lighter and sweet. Green is apple, not melon 😅 purple is grape, orange is as is. If you get the less sweet, they have pineapple.
Fish, better get those with clear eyes, not the cloudy ones. Red eyes also no good. Thats why sometimes getting fish from wet market like chowkit earlier you went, the fishes may be fresh ones.

If missed authentic korean cook just visit korea town ampang or damansara. Most owner shop and restaurant are usually korean. there is also korean school there.
mart and wet market price might be the same but quality in wet market is much better as their product are normal at A or B grade as for mart or hypermarket their normally is below B grade and they can buy more quantity from supplier thus they have a lower price..... easy to put into term if you plan to buy and cook and eat within 1 2 days just buy from mart but if you like to buy and stock up for 1 2 week then wet market is a better choice....
