2:51 its bitter gourd (peria)can stir fried for vegetable, that big variant is less bitter than small one
3:33 its stink bean(petai)can open and eat seed raw s condiment and used as sambal tumis petai
4:31 its jering , (Archidendron pauciflorum) native to S.E.A,its similar to petai but less stinky, mainly as condiment
4:38 its ginger torch flower(bunga kantan)used in laksa and sometimes as shredded in nasi goreng
5:50 thats tamarind with pulp and seed, essentially used in all S.E.A cooking, also good for sore throat
all of the above vegetables good for diabetes
6:00 its steamed sticky rice in bamboo(lemang)can eat with rendang or condensed milk
the fruit and vegetable such as tomato normally cheaper because its from Cameron Highland but imported fruit slightly expensive such as plum.Chow KIt Market or any wet market way cheaper and fresher than mart but for wet market quite smellier than supermarket, fish section in wetmarket you can ask the fishmonger to cut the way you want it.Enjoy more local content from you guys :)

NSK is one of the most cheapest supermarket in Malaysia. There is 2 type of NSK, one is normal NSK and another on a bit more expensive is NSK Grocer. NSK grocer the facilities is more comfortable and clean while normal NSK offer for cheaper option and in bulk.
Normal average supermarket like Lotus, Hero supermarket, Giant, Mydin and Aeon Big usually will be a bit more expensive than local market.
High-end supermarket like Aeon, Jaya Grocer and Village Grocer are usually more expensive and have a lot of imported goods

mart and wet market price might be the same but quality in wet market is much better as their product are normal at A or B grade as for mart or hypermarket their normally is below B grade and they can buy more quantity from supplier thus they have a lower price..... easy to put into term if you plan to buy and cook and eat within 1 2 days just buy from mart but if you like to buy and stock up for 1 2 week then wet market is a better choice....

Sorry, this is not a negative comment but just a suggestion, to cover up a bit more especially if you're going to a Muslim area to give them a bit more respect. Some are more devout than others in their faith and they may feel offended/distracted. This will help to ensure there's less chance/possibility of people being unfriendly towards you guys as well 😃
The one hanging like others had shared is Stinky Beans/Petai, I feel it's one of the best unique food in Malaysia especially when it's cooked well (soft) with belancan/spicy shrimp paste.
It's very nice you enjoy Assam Laksa, I do feel it's one of Malaysia's unique dishes that people should try and as you said, it will be a divided opinion
    😆
The guy is good at swallowing the Ramyeon/Instant Noodle 👍 I feel like you can surely add in some mukbang flavor into some of your videos for sure.

11:22 Traditionally, we Malaysians prefer Chinese celery, or popularly known in Malaysia as 'daun sup' (soup leaves) to garnish our soup dishes.
Bakso is garnished with coriander instead, as it is originated in Indonesia, brought to Malaysia by their foreign workforce.
It is not an authentic Malaysian food, even though it is available all over Malaysia.
    Just saying.
