Heard this song in 1970s. My friends late Ernest Joseph and late Brian Williams used to play this song. You played it very well, sir. I am 72 years old and enjoy old songs.
Hi Bryan. Love this old Animals hit and your cover is excellent. Very well played and sounds so good.👏👌💯🎵🎶🎸. Very much enjoyed and a big 👍. You got a new supporter Bryan. All the best Olav.
@@bryanofnote01 Even today, I know the Hammond B3 sound has been synthesized for use by other musicians. I live in the Chicago area, and a family member worked at the Hammond factory in the 60s. I remember well how the Leslie cabinet works, with speakers mounted on a turntable and spun by a variable speed motor that was controlled by the keyboardist.
Hello "Bryan of Note 01". GREAT arrangement of an old classic that I grew up with back in the mid-60's. That starting guitar riff in A-minor (A-minor, C-Maj, D-maj and F-maj arpeggios) was one that all of us budding guitarist learnt to play. And those "Alan Price" keyboard style notes to support solo in the middle was great as well. Back then, groups purchased the Vox Continental's or Farfisas, because no one could afford or had the means to move the Hammonds (B3 or C3). What amp was used for your guitar work...the guitar tones were GREAT. Another Animal favorite of mine to play was "it's My Life" and "We Gotta Get Out of this Place".
Hi There..so pleased you enjoyed this. My first organ was the FARFISA COMPACT..followed by HAMMOND L100. Then a HAMMOND A100. The amp I use is a VOX 15 Watt pathfinder.with guitars plugged into an old ZOOM effects pedal.. I have several more Instrumentals that might interest you, on my channel.
