2018: A Year of Curiosity, Commitment, and Community

The year went by quickly with many positive stories and events. The school’s building expansion campaign gained momentum with the completion of the Berbee Walsh match, getting the green light for construction of the parking ramp in Lot 62, and raising our profile by hosting tours at our school and at community outreach events across the state. Renewal continued with the relocation of WisCARES to a larger space and UW Veterinary Care’s completion of several hospital projects to improve spaces for patients and clients, as well as faculty and staff. All the while, the school's scientists continued to work globally on vaccines, vector-borne diseases with the school expanding its expertise by hiring nine new faculty members. Faculty, students and staff were recognized for their excellence, earning awards and honors, leading the way and positioning our school to excel in the coming new year.
