Damn... Pretty good job man its weird to hear tonetta properly produced and mixed. You added something B0RNS/The growler's/Daft Punk esque to the song.
What's wild is that, although I enjoy this cover, Tonetta's original sounds way better in my opinion! All of his recordings just have a special something -- probably because they're not properly produced/mixed. It's been interesting finding a balance between learning to make a professional mix/master while also retaining some of that punkish roughness we all love in Tonetta's work
@@plasticraincoats I partially agree with you. I can't say which one is better cause they can't be measured with the same ruler, i mean if your cover was meant to be an exact copy of tonetta's i could compare them cause they try to be the same thing, and i would probably incline to tonetta's cause in a world where you have tonetta why would you choose something that tries to be close to the original. But you took the song and turned into something that wasn't meant to be by tonetta a properly mixed electro pheromone indie rock therefore you can't compare the pieces objectively. Anyway i enjoyed it quite much, keep up the good work buddy.
@@thatbo8902 Yeah that's a fair point. I guess I was saying that I enjoy the roughness of Tonetta's recordings and that it can be difficult to achieve with modern technology. But anyway, thanks so much for the kind words! I appreciate it.
Muy apasionado. Lo mejor. ❤️

I got beach house vibes at first well played
Thanks! I'm literally using a beach house synth preset I downloaded. The song goes surprisingly well with that whole aesthetic
