Step 1 Power off
Step 2 Remove the Back Cover
Step 3 Remove the motherboard bracket
Step 4 Test the new battery
Step 5 Remove the worn battery

WTF. I miss days of retro phones. Where are those easy opened back covers and non sticked, replacement batteries? :(
Today's phones are really like a toast. So everything are sticked together. Use them and throw them to trash can :(

Why did the back pannel get shattered?

Its the only A series phone to be water and dust resistant otherwise reserved only for S and Note series. Hence i do not want to dispose it. I will probably go to service centre to change the battery.
Why would you bother with adhesive for the new battery? Phones previously didn't have shit like that; you just popped a cover and the battery came out easily.
So there's no way not to damage the back cover upon removing it ;)

This is not total true i got the samsung a8 just recently 5 days before. And i had lot of troubles in battery drainage. This a8 battery drain lile hell.. i tried all the battery storage like all apps on sleep modes. Let me tell u clearly i am not using lot of apps just standard apps. The main problem is battery drain on standby very quickly.. before bed i charge it to 100 percent in morning i can find only 65 to 70 percent of battery. Even its bard for this dude to stay a full day. Today only i return my mobile to servicr center.. now lets see what they are going to do.
