You wanted to kill Helena Markos! Agghhhghg! Wah ya gonna do now, hah? Ehhh, you might want to add SPOILER ALERT. All the killers are given away in here. Great vid, anyway.
This video essay is rather bloated and full of pointless and over-indulgent pointers on sexual representation. Argento is a great film maker who expressed characterisation as suited to his stories. By saying he was ticking boxes for modern indoctrinations takes away from his artistry.
This is a wonderful video essay focusing on the movies of who I think is the best horror film director ever Dario Argento..I loved it.
Argento is The KING!
We need more analysis like this great one, there are not enough about Argento's work.❤
SUPERB!!! Thank you Michael and team! LOVE ARGENTO! xx x x
What a fascinating and articulate analysis, thank you!
Great insight into Argento’s body of work, a really enjoyable watch, thank you!
The greatest italian movie director
Brilliant. He owes his use of colour and black gloves killers to Mario Bava though. Watch "Kill Baby Kill" and "Blood and Black Lace" !
I don’t care what anyone says, the “three mothers” trilogy are some of my favorite films.
Thanks. Very enjoyable. Wish I was in the UK for the BFI Argento season.
Amazing Video Essay, thank you!!!
This Is great! Thank you!
Brilliant visionary filmmaker
Tenebrae’s cinematography and art direction were, believe it or not, based on the look of Charlie’s Angels’s. Weird, I know.

what a great video 😍😍 thank you for this
Dude, this ideology is all-consuming...
It feels like a huge oversight but there is no lesbian couple in Tenebrae, they're housemates...
"camp" is such an overused term now that it's meaningless. Retire it.
