- In my previous vlog you may have watched that how I came from Samarkand to Bukhara , how my find my accommodation in Bukhara , Uzbekistan .
In this vlog , I started my day after coming out from MBBS university hostel where i sneaked / stayed illegally without under knowledge of any authority MBBS hostel in Bukhara , Uzbekistan . Moreover I can not show in detail in which room I stayed or who helped in finding accommodation because maybe they could have problem later .
So this video is about me exploring Bukhara , Uzbekistan. The main goal was to reach to old Bukhara which is the main gem of the city . Bukhara is also an ancient city of Uzbekistan and has great importance. In front of MBBS university there is big bus station where the buses coming from other cities stops and there you may see so many things to buy / eat . There is also very good place to eat pilaf in Karbon Restaurant where you can have meal after just arriving from any city or going to .
As always I plan to go to Old Bukhara by local city bus but along with me Indian students with whom I stayed in their home came along and they also want to go their college where their classes are done because they being 4th year students they have their classes outside of main campus.
The taxi for around 6 kms costs us 10000 soms / 71₹ . I started walking around after students left and they guided me how to go to Old Bukhara from that point . I was amazed to see the architecture of beautiful city with different old design pattern of walls . As I started walking in the zone of Old Bukhara city . I also spotted hotels and hostel there as well where you can stay / accomodate .
Moving on I find hair salon for where I find amazing prices of haircut rate one shop guy told me 100soms for haircut i.e not even 1₹ . I was shocked to hear that maybe it was due to any miscommunication and I went to another shop and there I find another amazing price that is 700₹ for haircut . I skipped that place , I find it too expensive for me . There are lot of tourist attractions in Bukhara , Uzbekistan as like in Samarkand , Uzbekistan. Somehow the designs of Architecture is almost same , so always you must make a list of the places which is very touristic and important to visit .
First of all I visited the biggest Madrasah / Islamic school of Bukhara, Uzbekistan and I also spotted very amazing cafe / restaurant with great view and pocket friendly prices . While taking rest on the seat I found strong free Wi-Fi in the zone with the name as UZ cloud . I also found free Wi-Fi in Samarkand , Uzbekistan . While taking rest I met accidentally again with European girl whom i met in Samarkand. She told me that she came by train in 22,000 soms / around 6.5 USD . We talk for a while and then separated on our own ways .
After a while I become thirsty but the price of water around being touristic spot was high maybe , half litre of water costs around 4000soms / 29₹ , so I started looking for empty bottle, somehow I find and get my water fill and then drink. I also got free Wi-Fi from hotel nearby for uploading videos for you guys .
Uzbekistan is very famous for its unique ancient design of architecture , the design on cutlery like decorative plates , bowls or big portions. Old Bukhara is an amazing zone to see how the beautiful designs are being carved . After exploring a while more and visiting Hammam , the price of Hammam / Turkish bath was for 4,00,000 soms / 2850₹ which includes massages and other perks and last a cup of spice tea. It was designed in an ancient way and I couldn’t not figure the source of heat inside the hammam .
And then I ended the part - 1 of Bukhara visit coz there are so many other places to visit as well in Bukhara which will be shown in next vlog or Part -2 of Bukhara series .
