I stitch in hand too! I lay my full coverage piece on a big pillow and stitch two handed while leaning back in a recliner! Sooo comfortable!
When I started stitching a few years ago I decided to keep it simple, without a bunch of paraphernalia. So, the stiffer the aida the better. 🤣😃
Aly - I totally enjoyed your Flosstube video. So many stitchers are over the top serious but it's a hobby not life & death. Your progress is great & I like how honest you are about your projects - it's not bringing joy, etc. It's a refreshing change. Have a great stitchy month. Patricia

Great progress on the WIPs Contessa with Squid is just amazing. I am definitely adding it to my list for next year! 🦑 Life comes before hobbies. I feel guilty for it to when making videos, but I can't do anything about my lack of stitching sometimes.
I will commit to working on the tree skirt on the 25th of each month so you don't feel alone...drowning in fabric...and floss! I definitely have the same sentiment about making a stocking for myself; I need to slog through the tree skirt first.
I love your videos! I am sorry you are in a blue phase, those are tough, but your videos are very uplifting. I appreciate that you are authentic. I just found you and plan on watching you videos while I stitch in-between packing for a big move. I also am an in-hand stitcher, it drives my Mom nuts as she taught me and is an avid hooper, haha, but I just can't handle them! Stitch on girl... I look forward to the next update. :)

I love when you post a video! I did the same thing and throw my June Wipgo out of the window. I am stitching on my July Wipgo project though. June was just too busy. I swear I did not see Contessa with Squid. I need to go back through your video… I saw the iPad picture…. did you hold your project up?? Since English is not my first language I learned that disturbing might not be the right word, beautiful unsetling is maybe better.

Fellow in-hand stitcher here! I have tried hoops, q-snaps. Every once in a while I try again…still nope! LoL! The good news is I don’t have to be bothered to take things out of hoops and move them 😂

Don't bother trying to watch GOT. After season 4 it's downhill slide is dramatic! Then the showrunners ran out of books so made it up themselves, while wanting it done so they could go to another job with Star Wars ( that didn't eventuate. Poetic justice for destroying a good show). The finale is such garbage and you won't like Danerys by season 6.
