I worked on this! I made a bunch of the flora/fungi in the volcanic area. This project was awesome. I think I've heard that they are gonna update it and make it more performant and stuff, dont quote me on that. The epic team told us to go crazy with the polys which is why some things are so crazy high, to show off nanite. The style goal was less "low-poly" more "painterly". Nice video! Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try and answer what I can.
YEEEEES!! PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT PULLING SOME OF THIS STUFF FROM THIS PROJECT TO ANOTHER!! I'm a new developer trying to make my own game and would love to see how it's done!
@@SmartPoly I bought an asset few days ago and still couldn't rate. It was great tho, gave 5/5 stars, still, all i could was to leave a nice review under YT Thrailer.
Yeah, honestly if you could break this project down that be amazing. I’ve been trying to learn from what’s available from unreal but I have so many unanswered questions. There’s a lot of complicated tech in this demo. I would love to be able to use in my game, but I don’t understand it.
I wonder if it's allowed to use this sample project and release it with changes like replacing the character and filling the world with enemies as a full game.
I love your videos and find them extremely helpful. I'm working on PC interaction in Unreal Engine, where the player can interact with a PC to start missions. Could you please make a video on this topic? It would be greatly appreciated!
A couple questions I thought of (and maybe they're stupid haha)... 1) is it possible to re size the map in this project/from this project? Or would someone need to take all the assets and re build their own world? 2) once you build your game and finalize the map, is it possible to go under all the land mass and "clear out" any of the un used z axis space? Not sure how the technics of the land generators work, but is it solid under the ground (as real life is) or is it blank, empty space already? As an aspiring game dev, I am 100% going to take your course. I started downloading assets randomly a few months back but your course would get me on the right track. You pointed out how hard it is to find an "a-z" guide on unreal.
hello!, so im a little confused how these assets work, for instance is this free to use in my game and sell my game on steam? also what if I only wanted to use a blueprint from it like their map system? can I just use part of the blueprints for my project ? im just confused if I can sell commercially on steam using anything from this download
Thanks for the introduction but it's just another asset set that doesn't help learning UE5. Not that I am 100% of but I downloaded quite some passet packs like this and it turned out watching your beginner tutorials and trying to find my way around in UE5 was even more helpful than any of those "packs"
This is awesome. I think for most of us its all just so overwhelming. In my case I'm a high level corporate IT person. So I do high level project management and troubleshooting. So I've already got WAY too much technical knowledge. Then you combine that with ALL the features and tools UE has and it seems like too much to try and understand to build a game. Between needing to create assets, pcg, nanite and lighting....its just....overwhelming.
it can be very overwhelming. but you must understand that the program was designed for massive studios with teams of people. Each sub editor can be someone’s dedicated full time job. You realistically don’t need to learn everything.
Hey poly, Do you teach online games for mobile platforms, or cross platforms? I thought the prop hunt course on teachable was supposed to teach this, but apparently it only teaches local implementation
@SmartPoly Bro I mean, is there a way to make this online in a cross-platform way, and players of both platforms can download the game on Google Play and Steam and play together? I don't think this will work with Advanced session steam as it is only compatible for pc platform, will it work with EOS? For both platforms?

That’s awesome please do make a video on how to package the game.
Well made. Your talking points sound very tailored to devs that are curious about scope and unique assets.
fab should have a filter to hide owned items
Fab should have a lot of things…they dropped the ball big time
Written reviews = no more. Basically figure out how it's gonna be...
they will add reviews hopefully sometime soon
@@SmartPoly i hope so but this feature wasn't there in the old store either

Awesome show off the Project!
Nice showcase! Would love to see how you package it and compare the Size and performance VS. Editor. thanks!

It is amazing! Subscribed!
This looks amazing. A good inspiration to get out there and create. Would love to see how all of it was put together somehow.
I'm so after your course.
After finishing your beginner series, I’m currently on the intermediate, I’m going to purchase your survival course. Looking forward to it.
the survival course is pretty dope
Nice video 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Nice, I already have a stylized project I’m working on so a lot of these assets will help with fleshing out mine.
wow this is amazing! can't wait to check it out this weekend!
Hope you like it!
Definitely the perfect project for a build tutorial!
It's a great start for sure!
Thanks for notifying!
You’re welcome!
Awesome project by them!

like a quest system?
Very nice bro!
Thanks 🔥
Breath of the Wild - At Home...I love it!
Would love to have a tutorial on how to use the plugins and assets in this project in our own projects.
Are you considering doing some tutorials like replacing the characters, adding some abilities and enemy npcs?
maybe. The project is very big and a little too much for my taste. a lot of loading even with a strong pc
