Except a "knighthood" and the "Hall of fame" they reached everything. I don't have any hopes there will be another album, neither by Eurythmics nor by Annie Lennox.

I met Annie & Dave back in 1982 outside Dingwalls. This was the first gig of the first UK tour. I was seriously ill and they were both very kind to me.
I write this in the sincere hope that they will read this, hopefully remember and get in touch with me, somehow. I would dearly love to have a zoom meeting with Annie if at all possible. Please, please respond to this message if this gets to you Annie.

This is the most amazing video and interview - I love them both so much. My absolute favourites ❤
What a couple!! I saw them in Strasbourg, France, back in the eighties, and I never really recovered from the experience! They were definitely the best British R&R group of their time (maybe all time), along with people like Dire Straits and Roxy Music. Stewart is a fabulous guitar player, and Annie was the only white woman to be able to sing with Aretha Franklin without making a fool of herself. (R.I.P. Aretha...) Really love and thank you, Eurythmics!

...this brings back memeories!, I lived in a house around the corner from the chuyrch and knew them as the tourists...and there was a wonderful blue painted cafe ran by an ex cabaret=singer and really strong lady who I played scrabble with and made a macrame owl for her wall... such good times... I was making a macrame wall hanging in highgate woods one day and a certain gentleman who was walking his goat happened along and his goat started chewing on my string! ....stuff happened.... thanks for all the music and fun and inspiration! dear Dave and Annie... best wishes.... Peter.

DVD? Why DVD? You should try the current standard audio/video format of Blu Ray. HD @ 720p or 1080p or greater, and the audio no less vastly improved. If DVD, you may as well be asking for a Betamax video-cassette. I swear, once you see & hear Blu Ray, you'll never go back to DVD! hehehehe
I know Blu Ray has superior quality, but not everyone has a BR player yet. They should released them on both DVD and Blu Ray then.

This duo stamped a mark on the eighties. The Savage and Sweet Dreams albums are masterpieces. Appearances probably helped in the video age - Lennox is still stunning. But they are truly gifted - they have created some really clever stuff, and a few of the brightest videos made up to date. I think that the one for Love is a Stranger is brilliant, way above the common standard. Truly appreciate its fun subversiveness.
You may contradict me, but in my opinion while "Eurythmics" were in the "Indian Summer" of their career, "Roxette" took over the torch. Until Marie Fredriksson got ill. There is no duo or small band comparable to them at the moment. I doubt there will be ever any music act who comes close to them.

Dave or Annie - if you monitor this Where can I find a digital copy of Savage - the Video long play? Have the ORIGINAL on Betamax (yes, bought it the day it hit the shelves!) However the machine has died, the tape has deteriorated and to the best of my knowledge, there has NEVER been a re-release. Anyone that has a digitized complete copy of this (not a mash up of separate videos with breaks in between) please PLEASE contact me. Don't you want to feel the shame, like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones? (We loved you!)
