I have friends who say racist stuff and words all the time. They are also some of the greatest people I know. One of my best friends will say something extremely edgy about black people then complain about how his dad is an ignorant idiot for saying he doesn't hire black people then next second.
There are a lot of people who aren't actually racist but just don't subscribe to the ideology of doctoring their speech
People who are actually racist and stupid though are pretty annoying to be around sometimes though.
Nah having a friend group where everyone just mutually appreciates each other’s company is a W. I’m thankful to have that friend group since high school but the friend group I met in college was way worse. Every person I met in college was not a good experience so I had to cut those “friends” out of the picture. The friends you knew the longest are always the realest ones you’ll know.
I had to deal with incredibly toxic friends last year and I swear, each sign you mentioned gave me flashbacks to how they treated me.
I'm glad I understand a lot more about toxic friends and the early signs when something is wrong.

I have two "friends", they both rarely text me, and they both never react to anything i post on social media regardless of what it is, a meme, a workout pic, a quote, a drawing, nor do they ever ask me about it or at least compliment it irl (one of them relies heavily on me for test answers), so I'm i right to think of them as toxic because i interpreted this as fake friendship and intense jealousy, because they're always online and see what i post?
No, keep it irl. Don't interpret their behavior online. Imagine if someone did that to you, they could easily misinterpret and get the wrong idea. To be completely real, it's "fake" behavior to go to a youtube comment section first befofe even asking them why in person.

@@GlueEater9exactly. I mentioned to my ex best friend that I have anger issues, but she kept egging me on and then acts shocked when I want to leave this ‘friendship.’ Those type of people are genuinely draining to interact with😭
Maybe in your friend group, you coukd be the toxic friend so its important to have self awareness and correct your mistakes
