  • Ingredients: Fellowes Type 'N Go 98040 (Palm V PDA) Keyboard Case
    Franklin Rolodex RF-8110
iPod 2nd Generation (will try other devices for easier use as I had to makeshift the button-presser because the Rolodex one is too high in this configuration)
    Tools: Precision Philips/Posidrive screwdriver
Snippers to get the cover plate roughly the correct size
    Needle file for small areas
Half-round file for quick and dirty work
    Wet-and-dry paper for edge cleaning
The outside edges of the Rolodex cover need to be trimmed carefully to allow it to fit at the top without bending too much but still be tight enough to avoid any glue-work to hold in place
After removing all the internal workings, I had to file down the inside of the front case and the edge plate so as to allow a near-flush fit with the iPod.
I also removed the connector-pins of the Palm section to allow the iPod to sit lower in the case.
To do: Sanding and painting to remove logos
A better means of holding the iPod in place (currently using rubber risers on the corners to grip and also neutralise the curvature of the case)
Trying other devices to see if I can find something that allows full-screen activity and a proper button-press action
