When I was a freshmen in high school, 3 years ago, at some point I went through a country phase, where I started listening to a lot of country, this was one of songs that got me hooked. I love and respect country, and understand that it's not everyone's fav, but I love it because it can be, Country Girl Shake It For Me song to a The House That Built Me song. I remember every morning for a whole summer I would always click to CMT for great videos and country countdowns.
This song makes me cry every time, not even because of the meaning of the song, but because of nostalgia. I don't listen to a lot of country nowadays, but I still have so many memories of songs blasting driving down some back road with fields surrounding us in Dad's truck with all the windows rolled down, summer dresses, bare feet and fresh air. Oh we also listened to the radio when it was take your kid to work day, also known as, you can sit on the floor of the tractor and look out the windows.

I had mine at 13. I wasnt expecting it tho. I was dating the kid at the time, I think.. I may have been with another guy but I was planning on breaking up with him but that doesn't matter. I was at the boys house playing game cube with him. He was beating me. I was salty and I threw the controller and just looked down. He scooted closer, so I was like oh hes gonna give me a hug nah I was wrong. He lifted my head up and kissed me. I was shocked. I liked it. He ended up cheating on me like a month later at our dance( he was a new student at the time) I wasnt allowed to go to,the dance I was in trouble with the school but he literally kissed me right before the dance and told me he loved me. My friend called me like an hour later and said he was sucking face with another girl. I literally walked down from a friends house near the end of the dance to wait for him. Let's say I broke up with his cheating ass. Yeah it hurt he cheated but fuck I dont regret him kissing me. I was cheated on a lot. But ive been in a relationship for 4 years 😍 I'm 19 now. We're thinking of marriage soo.
