I live in Western Australia and Lachlan passed almost right past my house. I woke at 1am and met him on the road at 2:15am. I was on my Giant Revolt gravel bike, and could hardly keep up for 10 kms. Yes he had support, but Lach is an absolute weapon. Also, his mental strength and positivity is incredible. He's a very happy and friendly person, and was in such a great mood, he was enjoying himself immensely. It was very inspirational to ride with him.
Wow, what an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing your story. It must have been truly inspiring to ride alongside Lachlan and witness his incredible positivity and mental strength firsthand. We're so glad his journey brought you such inspiration. Keep pedaling and stay motivated!
Lachlan is an absolute legend! For us mere mortals, it's mind boggling! He's such a nice human being too... bravo for helping our Indigenous children! Stoked he's from my part of the world - Port Macquarie- just down the road.
Was the "Around Australia" ride supported? I know he did the Alt Tour/Tour De France ride UNSUPPORTED, but I would guess Australia is too sparsely populated to be able to find food and water and bike parts on a regular basis. Either way, Lachlan is an absolute MONSTER of a rider and an inspiration to weekend warriors like ME
What he's done is undoubtedly incredible! Congratulations! And thanks to L.Morton for inspiring many cyclists. But I wonder how many people would be able to do the same thing with the funding of a professional team like EF? And more, with a family by the side giving full logistical support? I believe some could do the same or even breaking his record.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! Lachlan Morton's achievements are indeed incredible and truly inspiring to many cyclists. While the support from a professional team like EF and his family logistics play a role, it still takes immense dedication, talent, and perseverance to accomplish what he has. It's exciting to think about what others might achieve with similar support-we can't wait to see more cyclists pushing the boundaries!
Absolutely! Thanks for mentioning his incredible Tour Divide record. Lachlan is truly a remarkable athlete and human being. His achievements continue to inspire us all!
Congrats on going the whole segment without speculating whether he's going to go for the around the world record and just focusing on his already mind blowing achievements.
Thanks for the kudos! We thought we'd let his mind-blowing achievements speak for themselves-no speculation needed this time. But stay tuned; we'll definitely dive into what he has planned next in an upcoming video!
An amazing feat, as are all of Lachlan's rides, but also a "selfless"one as he was able to raise money for a group he feels so passionate about. An amazing ride, but an even more an amazing man!!

She said NYC to LA every 3 days? That must be an error
yeah, I heard that too
Sick puppy. Well done mate
An inspiration for all!
Lachlan Morton is Bad Ass
I did some google-ing and this might be the most distance anyone has ever ridden in 30 days.
So little new and relevant information, very little preparation went into this. This is not a "deep dive"
It was intended to be a friendly chat.
Let's see if we can get more in depth!
