Tip 1 : upgrade horse capacity Tip 2 : try selling oil on 1$ most of the time 1.20 -1.40 $ are rare prices. Tip 3 - spilling is not that bad it will cost around above 1k or so and if you are having to much spilling prob just sell little oil at 0.70$ it's better than loosing 3k or so.
@@TheChosenone-xn7ri yeah I agree. I really need to change how I sell. I tend to hold for the best prices and mess myself over. Horses are mobile silos max them out never wasted money. 2 horse per pipe connected to oil pump x2 that for every width upgrade . If your still some how spilling oil then turn off the pumps its free and quick to fix. love this game and content good work!
@@joshcoyle6223 Ty! I'll keep that in mind. Do you know if that works when you have refineries up and running to by any chance? That's when things tend to get really out of hand for me xD
@@NibbsGaming shutting pipes off even half would lessen the horse workload, and if nessary you can turn refineries off. I usually max out horses it's a cheap safe guard and storage. Haven't tried refineries yet but the ratio is at least a step in the right direction , and you'll have them when needed for getting oil out of storage. The new spin on pipes having priority based on if the one before it is drained is interesting. That would make branching from the pump better than having 1 pipe with a bunch of branching and making every break have as many branches as possible, so the oil nodes to pump in the least amount of breaks would be the fastest way to pump.

I think the best way to optimize is to have refineries on closest side of either right or left, depending which one you'll sell petrol on. You'll also need to to see which side has more water so it will be cheaper to dig into water pockets. The refinery pipe should go as deep as possible with nodes like a tree root to access water from below so you dont have to close oil rigs and oil can be pumped continuously, separated from the water.
Yeah I've played around with it a bit and I've tried it on the sides too. I agree that if you can make it work then it will be better but I nearly always end up crossing oil pipes or getting in the way. I will deffo give it another go though!
