Hey, you don’t need to apologize for being emotional! Losing a loved one, especially someone close, is really tough. If you became emotional because of the song, it just goes to show how music transcends language.
There is no need to apologize. Those of us who lost somebody tend to be emotional whenever we remember the sad moments which is usually triggered when we listen to songs or watch movies that we relate to. ❤️💚💙
Thanks for opening up and being vulnerable. That's a brave thing to do. Hugsss to you! I relate to you coz I've lost my dad a long time ago and it still stings every time i think of him. Grief if such a complex emotion. Glad BINI's song is there to comfort and bring back good memories for you. 💝
There are songs that I can't relate storyline wise but somehow I can relate to it in some ways, I guess that's the beauty of the music we can interpret in different ways.
hey maisie! just some clarifications in the translations "Huwag muna tayong umuwi" was translated as "Let's stay here for a while" which is correct but more accurately it's "Let's not go home yet" Huwag=don't Muna=yet/for a while Tayo(ng)=Us Umuwi=go home "Dito muna" is translated as "Stay a while" which is also correct but the next part is "ako" which is "me" then for the next repeat, it's "tayo" which is "us" "Dito muna AKO" = "Let ME stay here for a while" "Dito muna TAYO" = "Let US stay here for a while" It was hard on the subber to translate it accurately since the construction of the sentences is very different. I guess if I was to do it, I'll instead do: "Let me, me stay here" "Let us, us stay here" without breaking it to follow the song lines 😅 "Maaga pa ang ating gabi" is translated as "Midnight is still early" which is actually wrong. It should have been "The night is still young" I think that's all that needs clarifying 😊
Please watch huwag muna tayo umuwi "Hmtu" uploaded by hoshi no film. There, Bini sang on a live stage and one moment the music disappeared and still nailed the harmonies
I appreciate you opening up to us. I hope everyday gets a little easier for you. If not, there is always tomorrow to look forward to. And just like you said, Bini does help cheer us up. They are like our friends who are there to listen. Because of that, you might want to listen to Na Na Nandito Lang by them. You don't even need to react to it. Just listen to it whenever you feel sad or alone. here is a translation from me (tried my best to translate based on genius) hehe: [Intro: Maloi] (Na-na) Just here (Na-na) I'm just-here, oh-oh-oh [Verse 1: Gwen, Sheena ] In this playful world There are things that are really uncertain Always confused, wondering how to do this? I'm so sorry about your loss. I know the feeling. My way of coping with it is finding someone I can connect to especially idols that I look up to. It helps a lot. As you may know, Sheena lost her mom during her training days in the midst of the pandemic. There's a lot more to their story than what you've seen. As a fan myself, I find comfort in learning about my idols' struggles because it resonates with me and it somehow makes me feel better. I recommend you check out Karen Davila's interview with BINI. Knowing that these girls have gone through so much at such a young age, more than I ever did, inspires me to keep going and stay positive and always look at the bright side of things. ❤
I will call Bini's song as "I feel good songs". Sometimes it might motivates you or makes you cry but you know you will feel good after. I hope you react to the song of Bini called here with you. Please react to the color coded lyrics and follow it with the 2nd year anniversary performance. The girls were very emotional during that time because there are so many blooms who went there to support them because during their first anniversary event there are only 35 fans who went to that event. This song is a disney ready song as well and lyrics are really good which is about them thanking blooms for their support.
When I first watched this I was at the edge of my seat because this setup is a disaster waiting to happen. No in-ears, and obviously they cannot hear themselves properly that's why some parts are a little off. Still they nailed it. A very gutsy performance from BINI.
there’s no need to apologize for feeling emotional especially when you are simply moved by the music you listen too. we’re sorry for your loss. hope you feel better soon!
My lolo (grandpa) passed away recently as well. I'm only just now recovering from the pretty severe clinical depression I experienced as a direct result of it. My first memory that I remember as a human being was with him. I was telling my grandma about a dream I had. it's one of the stickiest dreams I have that I have not forgotten. It was me looking down while seeing geometric shapes and I told grandma that for some reason, lolo was also randomly in it. I even remember his "uniform" of a white collared polo shirt that he always wears. Turns out those geometric shapes were farm fields and I was looking down because I was on a plane, and grandpa was in it because he won modest fortune from a neighborhood lottery and I was between 1,5 to 2 years old at the time. We lived in Metro Manila, the capital region but my parents sent me to my grandparents' household in the provinces (about 18 to 20 hour ferry ride away) for close to a year because both mom and dad were working at the time and couldnt afford a babysitter. They couldnt afford to fetch me either. So when my grandpa won that small fortune, he wanted to surprise my parents by flying from their home province to the capital with me in tow. Flying was a big deal at the time because the next time I will actually fly again is when I turn 16 (which I thought was the very first time I ever flew, but apparently not). Each summer break from school thereafter, our parents would send me and my siblings to the home province with grandma and grandpa for 6 weeks of unending summer bliss. Their household didn't have proper plumbing so my grandpa, being the man of the house, would manually take water from the household well (which is at least 20 ft deep) just so us kids can have water for showering, etc. He would also manually carry two rather hefty traditional water jars (banga) balanced between a sturdy stick between his shoulders for drinking water half a mile away so the household has drinking water. Nothing is better than real fresh spring water stored in an earthen jar cooled down naturally by the cool mornings of a rural fishing village, let me tell you. As a millenial, Im pretty sure that my fellow peers would not hesitate to pay top dollar for the privilege. Suffice to say, I looked up to that superman, my lolo, and seeing him in his last few hours in such a horrible state is still so tough for me to remember. And all of a sudden someone is cutting up some mad volumes of onions in here.
Thank you for sharing. Thank you for the trust you show your viewers as well. Being vulnerable reminds us that you're as human as we are. And with that, allow us to sympathize with you. Give yourself a break if you need it. Let yourself grieve. We, your viewers, shall be here, ready to give support whenever you may need it. That said, I think you're really strong for being able to post videos, not even a month following that event. But remember, it's okay to not be strong always, alright? Stay safe, take care, and do good.
honestly i originally was gonna take a break from posting but reactions bring me so much joy to do so i thought "why stop doing something i enjoy during this time?" i really do appreciate everyone who has been so nice and patient with me going through this time! 💜
Please react to "Na Na Nandito Lang" by Bini (from star music youtube so it has english lyrics).. I think u need to hear this song and just listen to this music if u want to be uplift.. Who agree with me, Blooms??
ah yes, the infamous One Music (and Rappler) set-up. Still, Bini did good, not great but good, despite the terrible singing environment at least compared to their other live performances.

So sorry about your grandfather! Im sure he’s proud of the sweet person you grew up to become! ❤
hey maisie! just some clarifications in the translations
"Huwag muna tayong umuwi" was translated as "Let's stay here for a while" which is correct but more accurately it's "Let's not go home yet"
Huwag=don't
Muna=yet/for a while
Tayo(ng)=Us
Umuwi=go home
"Dito muna" is translated as "Stay a while" which is also correct but the next part is "ako" which is "me" then for the next repeat, it's "tayo" which is "us"
"Dito muna AKO" = "Let ME stay here for a while"
"Dito muna TAYO" = "Let US stay here for a while"
It was hard on the subber to translate it accurately since the construction of the sentences is very different.

I think that's all that needs clarifying 😊
good corrections. cc are terrible at times as it's transliterated

here is a translation from me (tried my best to translate based on genius) hehe:
[Intro: Maloi]
(Na-na) Just here
(Na-na) I'm just-here, oh-oh-oh
[Verse 1: Gwen, Sheena ]
In this playful world
There are things that are really uncertain
Always confused, wondering how to do this?
Don't know what to do.
So many times have you been hurt and injured,
Will you continue to fight?
How long will you try?
You have so many doubts
Could you let go?
You'll get through it
[Pre-Chorus: Stacey, Colet ]
'Don't be bothered, you're not alone
'Don't worry, I'll be with you
In times of sadness, I won't let you go
Take a rest in me
[Chorus: Jhoanna, Maloi ]
Don't give up, don't be defeated
No matter the challenges in the world, oh, oh-oh, oh
Strengthen your heart, take courage
Look up, forehead high, oh-oh-oh
[Post-Chorus: Jhoanna, Maloi , Aiah ]
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Na-na, ha-ah, ha-ah, ha-ah)
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Ooh-ooh)
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Ooh-ooh)
[Verse 2: Mikha, Aiah ]
Whatever you're going through, don't forget
I won't leave you, I won't let you down, you can rely on me
Just believe in yourself, avoid being negative all the time
Let go of your doubts, you will get through them (Woah-oh, woah-oh)
[Pre-Chorus: Mikha, Jhoanna ]
'Don't be bothered, you're not alone
Don't worry, I'll be with you
In times of sadness, I won't let you go
Take a rest in me, ooh
[Chorus: Stacey, Colet ]
Don't give up, don't be defeated
No matter the challenges in the world, oh, oh-oh, oh
Strengthen your heart, take courage
Look up, forehead high, oh-oh-oh
[Post-Chorus: Stacey, Colet , Mikha , (Maloi)]
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Na-na, ha-ah, ha-ah, ha-ah)
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Ooh-ooh)
(Na-na) just here
(Na-na) I'm just here (Ooh-ooh)
[Bridge: Aiah, Maloi , Colet ]
There's someone ready to listen, ready to hug
Ready to catch you again and again
Just always trust
Don't lose hope
I'm here, oh
[Chorus: Gwen, Sheena , (Colet)]
Don't give up, don't be defeated
No matter the challenges in the world, oh, oh-oh, oh
Strengthen your heart, take courage
Look up, forehead high, oh-oh-oh
[Post-Chorus: Gwen, Stacey, Aiah, & Jhoanna, Sheena, Maloi, & Colet , Jhoanna , Mikha, *All*]
(Na-na) just here (Oh)
(Na-na) I'm just here (Oh-oh-oh~)
I'm just here

That set-up is a very risky environment for singers to sing live. But still BINI slay it.
