I watched this in 2020 but didn't leave a comment. Rewatching this in 2022! There's so many cute 😺 in Cat Village! 😻 Really enjoyed your Taiwan trip! 😃
There used to be a place near our last home that was garden like. There were some cats and other animals there. I like cats and noticed many of them are larger the usual...well fed? 😻 I would open a place like this near me if I had the means. Great place to go visit if you need a time out. Peaceful. Thanks again ActionKid for another cool video. 😻
I'm a certified cat lover, Stephanie. I was waiting to see the Cat Village video also. Did you notice how unafraid of people these cats are? They're well-fed and seem content.
@@judithhinton5784 Me too. I was amazed none of the cats ran away from people. What about the one just sleeping away oblivious to all of the people? I agree they were all fat and happy with beautiful coats; also surprising. So, how many cats do you have? I had my last cat for 20 years. When she died my boys were desperate to get a kitten. We ended up fostering a pregnant calico. She had 7 kittens!!! It was an awesome experience. We helped adopt out 5 and kept 2. We still have one of the two. One died tragically last year. He would sometimes cuddle up to my dog but our female has no interest in the dog. Because the dog is always with me I never see the cat. I will definitely have more cats in the future...and a dog or two!
@@ssadvweld1 Hi from "ghost town" NYC! All those cats were beautiful and their coats were nice and shiny. I've always had cats..I just love their independence and "whatever" attitude. I would have been in my glory in the cat village. My last baby, Imani, passed in 2015. She was 15, but my baby Jade lived for 18 years! I don't currently have a kitty but may adopt one later this year. Hope you and your family are doing well.
The cat rolling around was a female in heat. Well, I guess she has her choice of males there🐱 The cats are well taken care of and healthy. Love this video, AK. A nice way to end your time in Taiwan!
That was fascinating; too many observations to comment on all of them...the guy at the end just lounging away not bothered by people walking by...and didn't you say petting the cats was not allowed? I saw a lot of rule-breakers and I would be one of them!

nematube That’s a poor old coal mining town indeed. The coal mine was closed down long ago. The railway was for transportation of coal mine rather than carrying people for its original purpose. Nowadays, people go there because of the cats, but not because of some fancy luxury building or high rises.
Your channel is a HUGE help during this pandemic. THANK YOU! 😷👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yup, petting the cats isn’t allowed!
AK you certainly made the best of 3 week stay in Taiwan, so much video content. Makes me wonder how in the heck did you get any sleep!😀
I really made the most of my time there 😃
Awesome video! The cats are beautiful and well fed! Do people live in the village or is just open for businesses?
I love cats. ❤🐱

Really interesting place..!!
I read there are stairs down to the Keelung River. The signage was not very clear and I'm afraid you missed it.
At 22:41 what type of birds were those flying down?
I would like to know too!

I wish you could make more walking videos without talking ❤

It feels like Taiwan saw what the Japanese did and they copied it
Taiwan was under Japanese rule from 1895 to 1945
Wow, that's a badly maintained, decrepit village oosing poverty there.
