@@user-360johnn No, different crankshaft design & firing order. Inline engines sound nothing like their v counter parts. The sound of an inline 6 more closely resembles that of an inline 4 than a v6.

This reminds me of when I had my Aprilia with Akrapovic exhaust. Riding it without the noise reducers in the pipes was fun for about 15 minutes. After that, it was just a matter of time before the headache would start.

Great car, fantastic sound. I am just not sure about your hand position on the steering wheel and it makes me uncomfortable hehe. Driving it as is nothing ever goes wrong. If the car snapped its rear wheels to the right, how much of a left counter-steering angle would you be able to produce at 2:53? 90 degrees? :P
Agree with @jogu123 - the money to buy it and the complex skills to race it are two different things. And I’m not saying he needs the skill. It’s his toy and I wish him well with it. I also wish I could afford one 😅. As long he is doing mostly straight accelerations and not too heavy on the throttle turning or driving it in the wet or anything he should be ok. It’s a personal noisemaker and a beautiful piece of art, he’s not applying for Ferrari’s F1 team or anything.

Ive been watching this video on and off since it was uploaded, I finally watched the whole thing. I had no idea this was recorded in fayetteville until I recognized one of the backroads.
*_When I bought my Maserati GT, the previous owner put in custom exhaust system..._* It had high performance headers, high performance cat's, high performance X pipe, and high performance straight pipe (no mufflers), high performance tips. It sounded like a proper Italian Supercar, as it should because it had a Ferrari V8 engine. When Audi bought Maserati and Ferrari to save them from bankruptcy, both companies were re-organized. For a while, Ferrari was making engines for both companies. My Maserati is packing a potent Ferrari engine under it's hood. My neighbors were less than thrilled and I made it a point to not start it before 9:00 AM and not drive it after 9:00 PM. The GT label on car stands for 'Give Ticket' and even the police were less than thrilled. Car was too loud inside cockpit and it gave me a headache. I finally put in a high performance axle back exhaust system with high performance mufflers. It is a bit quieter but it still roars 'Italian Supercar'. At least now cops can't hear me coming 2 blocks away. Officers ask me how fast does it go. I tell them I don't know because the speedometer only goes to 200. They asked my how quick to get there, I said it goes from zero to insanity in under a blink of an eye. They stopped asking questions after that. One cop wanted to cite me for 'premeditated' speeding (just 'planning' for a high speed run). It wouldn't hold up in court. *_After watching this video, I decided to put the loud exhaust system back in._*
