Great question. The Treasure Valley as a whole is still largely conservative. That being said, the Boise metro area has grown increasingly less conservative over the past 5 to 10 years, with various geographical areas now being "purple" (opposed to red or blue). Ada County has voted Republican in every Presidential election since 2000. And the state of Idaho is definitely deemed to be a strongly conservative state. As far as the 2nd Amendment goes, that is a right that is definitely deemed important across the valley - and state. Thanks for the question!
@@kojikanemoto5144 That's a common concern actually (by both native Idahoans and newcomers coming from other states). The rapid growth we have seen over the past decade has undeniably shaken things up a bit - but in general, Idaho's economy and government outlook remain strong.
