Great presentation! WavesTune imo is right up there with Melodyne. All comes down to work flow but they both sound great and natural when used properly.
Great tutorial. Just wondering what the deal is with the rewire not being established. I just got this plug-in (using ableton) and have zero clue of settings to manipulate to get rid of that rewire.
Really helpful video. Thanks for uploading. I use melodyne mainly but have just bought waves tune. from the looks of it I will prefer using waves as it it suits the way I like to work. Shame rewire is no longer compatible with Studio one 6.
I wish Waves would update Tune. It is old and outdated looking, and making adjustments is tedious, but for the price it can not be beat. To make it zoom out hold the control or option (I can not remember atm) key on your mac.
Thanks for the zoom tip! And yes, I prefer the sound of it over Melodyne but the interface is pretty dated and hard to work with. It looks so old it might just come back in style.
If I want to save the finished tuning work, can I either bounce to clip, or bounce to track. In other words, is it possible to save the tune then delete the plugin?
I so badly wish that waves would upgrade the gui for this plug in so we can maximize it full screen. To me, the most frustrating part of dealing with this plug in is navigating the view in the plug in window. I bet Melodyne let's you go full screen. Maybe one day I'll bite the bullet and get it.
You use alt and control + left click to pick zoom in and out. You have to hold them while zooming 🤙🏼it can get hairy if you zoom in or out too much lol
Definitely. I produced the below track and used Waves Tune on the chorus, still noticeably but a lot more natural. ua-cam.com/video/za2KAYQZZLc/v-deo.html
Most latency problems are fixed in the DAW plugin latency compensation, I would look for settings along those lines and make sure the delay compensation is turned on in your daw.
Hey your presentation of Waves Tune helped me a lot. Thank you so much.
BRO a question which plug-in goes first autotune oh wave tune?
Super teaching techniques u have. And explained each with playing. ❣️

I sometimes use waves tune instead of Melodyne, great tone for certain genres.
This is a great tutorial, thanks so much, learnt a lot 👊

Thanks for the very informative video..
shout outs from Australia! :D

Hey Ian Bellue what’s the name of that song you’re using in this Waves tuning demonstration ? I dig it even with the unfinished vocals… 😊
Well done.
10:13 "Yikes" 😂 Whoever sang this song is watching right now feeling hella disrespected.
Lmfao
that hook is fire
Thanks for this good tutorial
Like you I still can't figure out how to zoom out with the magnifying glass
I'm trying to import a midi melody line. I know it can be done. I just can't seem to make it work. A video on that process would be lovely. Cheers.
Thank you!
Hey anyone know how to render the clip after editing? Having a problem with bouncing from ableton, the changes from Tune disappear after bounce…

1000 percent, it's the most outdated of any software I use, still sounds good though.
what do you do when done editing ? do you bounce the track ?
does it matter what order you put the waves tune in into your mixer in fl studio? should it come first or last in the mixer? hope this makes sense
Great Q, always first slot in the vocal chain.
@@IanBellueMusic thanks!!
How do you rewire this in fl studio? I can't seem to solve this and without rewiring the plugin keeps crashing ..
what is rewire and how do i get it?
Fl studio has a plug-in called re-wire then waves pops up
"technically dont know how to zoom out with the mag glass" - The only reson im here lol. Sigh

All the demos I listen to just turn the persons voice into a robot voice is it possible to make it more natural
Definitely. I produced the below track and used Waves Tune on the chorus, still noticeably but a lot more natural.

Do you have latency on waves tune and if you have it how to solve the problem about it?
Most latency problems are fixed in the DAW plugin latency compensation, I would look for settings along those lines and make sure the delay compensation is turned on in your daw.
Why not to cut and zoom in the plugin when editing the video? All that background is very unnecessary.
Can’t get this to work in acid 7.
Wtf is that?
I can't get Waves to detect my audio
Did you find a solution I have the same issue...it doesn't scan
