2 little comments for a flawless job:
1. After emptying the oil, put again the bolt, without removing the oil filter, pour 100 Ml of fresh new oil (that will be enough) again from the top, wait 5 minutes and repeat the draining process and continue, it will help you to push some "mud" that could be left in the carter.
2.Replace the crush washer with a copper (not alloy, no silver color) authentic copper crush washer (don´t buy the ones sold in VW dealerships those are alloy).

Related to point 1, I change the oil every 10-12k km and I don't think it's necessary.
Related to point 2. Yes, you are right. I have always used the ones sold by VW and they are not made of copper.

Interesant clipul si mai ales ca vw a trecut numai pe 0w20 renuntand la 5w30 pt GPF.
Am tot un GPF de la alta marca insa care tolereaza si 5w30 si 0w20 si am ales pt stilul meu de condus/clima un 5w30....
Observ si ca au renuntat la filtrul de ulei tip cartus in favoarea celui cu carcasa.....

Multumesc pentru apreciere. Eu folosesc acest 0w20 de la 0 km. Acum masina are 41k, 3 revizii efectuate si pana acum fara probleme. Pana acum nu imi consuma ulei deloc. Temperatura uleiului nu trece de 98-99 grade vara. Eu ma declar multumit de masina.

The size of the tool that you need for the oil filter is 74mm with 14 flats.
Original tool is VW OEM VAS 3417.

Ceva pareri despre uleiul vw? Vad ca inainte ai bagat si Mobil1. Ma mananca si pe mine sa bag, mai ales ca are un pret f bun in comparatie cu Mobil sau Castrol. Cum de nu ai adaugat un remap pe lista de mods?
Am facut pana acum 4000 km de cand am pus uleiul VW. Nu am aesizat nicio diferenta fata de Mobil 1. Nu consuma ulei, nu se incalzeste mai mult. Este in regula si asa voi merge de acum inainte, mai ales ca fac schimburile la max. 15k km.
Legat de soft, este pe lista de modificari, doar ca exista o oarecare teama legata de asta si mai astept putin, mai ales ca masina e inca in garantie.

Hello. You need to know if your car has GPF(Gasoline particle filter). My car is 1.5 TSI 2019 and has GPF. I used oil 0w20 from day one. I do the oil change at every 15k km. Now I have 41k km with no problems, no oil consumption.
In the summer I have the same, 35-40 C.
@@VladGeru I think my car doesn't have a GPF. authorized service (VW) recommends Castrol 5w-30 oil for maintenance. Do you think 0w-30 is better?

Theese are the winter alloys.
How many kms have your car? My have 46k and the oil dont came out black like yours.
40k km. Oil change at every 14-15k km.

0138157 is the plug reference.
Do they recommend 0W20 only? It has the consistency of water.
0w20 is recomanded for 1.5 TSI because of this engine has GPF.
5w30 is better

VW is not using anymore 5w30.
They are using 0w30 for non GPF engines.
But this 1.5 TSI should be filled with 0w20.
I use this oil from day 1. Now I have 40k km and no issues with it.

What about the fuel filter? where is it and how to change it?
Fuel filter is located in gas tank, integrated in fuel pump. Can not be replaced.

Din motor, la mine au iesit numai 3 litri de ulei!!?? Cred că trebuia sa iasă macar 4, uleiul pe jojă era la jumate pe partea hașurată.
Da, cam 4 litri trebuie sa scoti. Dar daca era la jumatate pe joja, e ok 3l.

I have 62.000km with this 1.5TSI. I am very happy with this engine. Fuel consumption is around 7l/100km, no oil consumption. It is a very good engine.
My advice is that oil change to be done at 1year or 15.000 km.

@@CristianCarpiuc daca o sa cauti masini cu acest 1.5TSI vei gasi destule cu peste 200k km. Generatia noua de motoare pe benzina de la VW e foarte reusita. In special acest 1.5 TSI.
Eu unul sunt foarte multumit de el. Dar foarte important, revizie la maxim 15.000km, nu 30k cum recomanda VW.

0w30 is good for a Audi A3 1.5tfsi 150hp?
Is the same engine 1.5TSI on all VW groupe cars. If you have GPF is recomanded to put 0w20 508.00 oil.

Od wczoraj olej z ASO Skoda 5w30 i Pan przesympatyczny powiedział, żeby lać 5w30 jak długo jest osiągalny.🚑🚒🚓👍
If you have GPF 0w20, 508.00 is recomanded.
@@VladGeru I can"t speak English(sorry), but this guy in Skoda service told me, that 5w30 is better for my engine. 0w20 is recommended, but not better. And i have 5w30. P.S. Romania is a beautiful country.

Regarding oil, if you search on Google, you will find that if you have GPF (gasoline particle filter) you should use 0w20, 508.00 specification.

W tym silniku o wiele lepiej sprawuje się olej 0w30 lub 5w30 z normą 504/507
