Saying you learned Japanese from Attack on Titan is like saying you learned English from Danny Phantom. You just can't do it.
It is possible, but only if you start at a really early age. I learned basic (and I stress basic here) German by watching cartoons on German TV. However, it's probably easier for a Croatian guy to learn German than to learn Japanese, the language structures are different.
