cheemsecake recipe:
Crust:
Ingredients
9-12 graham crackers/ 100g digestive biscuits
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
5-6 tablespoons melted butter
Preheat your oven to 350F/180C
In a food processor, combine graham crackers, sugar, and cinnamon. Pulse until it’s a fine crumb. Add the butter and pulse until it looks like wet sand. Grease the bottom and sides of your springform pan, cover the sides in an even rectangle of parchment paper, there will be a slight overhang and that’s okay. Press crumb mixture into a 9 inch closed springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Filling:
2lbs/ .9 kg softened cream cheese
1 cup/ 200g sugar
5 eggs, room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup/ 120g sour cream or yogurt
1/4 cup/ 60ml heavy cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preheat your oven to 400F/ 205C
In a bowl of a stand mixer combine the cream cheese and sugar on medium speed. Mix together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
Water bath!
While the cream cheese is mixing prepare your water bath. Wrap the outside of your springform pan tightly in tinfoil, using multiple layers. So no water can seep through. Find a pan big enough for your springform to fit and have room for water to come up the sides. Boil enough water for water to come 2 inches up the sides of the springform.
Filling!
When the cream cheese and sugar are light and fluffy add the eggs one at a time. On low speed mix well after each egg. At this point be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl and DO NOT OVERMIX! Add the heavy cream, sour cream, vanilla, and lemon and mix until just combined. Pour your batter into your prepared springform pan. Put into water bath pan and place in the oven. Carefully pour in the boiling water until it comes 2 inches up the sides of your springform.
Bake at 400F/205C for 13 minutes, then reduce without opening the oven door to 230F/ 110C. Bake for another 1 hour to 70 minutes. Do not open the oven door during baking. To tell if your cheesecake is done, quickly and carefully give it a slight jiggle. If it slightly jiggles in a 2-3 inch circle in the middle, it’s done. The edges will be slightly puffed up. If the cheesecake shows any cracks immediately move on to cooling.
Cooling:
Once your cheesecake is done, turn off the oven and slightly prop the oven door open, preferably with an oven mitt or two. Leave in propped oven for at least an hour. Then leave the cheesecake at room temp until it’s cool. Cover with plastic wrap and let set in the fridge overnight. Remove the sides of the pan, peel off the parchment paper, serve, and enjoy!

For anyone wondering, Patrick ( 4:10 ) and Chris ( 1:06:00 ) unfortunately passed as a result of a car crash, which has also left James in critical conditions.
It’s devastating. I wish I could say something to express my condolences, but words simply aren’t enough.
As somone who survived shooting in war (was one of 13 people left) i cant even put in words how much survival guilt jamed must be feeling
I was not responsable for those deaths and i wanted to take my life every day, james probably feals like he is responsable but i hope he does not, its not his faulth

Many people are coming back to this video because of what recently happened. These men poured their souls and hearts out to create what they wanted to create. They were so charismatic and just fun to watch. For once in my many rewatches of this video I didn't even crack a smile at the cheesecake recipe that always gets me. My favorite part about Tomatoa is the fact that his "shinyness" isn't just his style, but rather a biological adaptation that makes it easier to get food, because fish are attracted to the shiny nature of Tomatoa's back, and gives him a free meal.

The “I need it shiny” score at the end of the video is a masterpiece and all the editors of it aren’t being paid enough
It just isn't the same now... This video is probably one of the hardest to rewatch after everything James has been through in the past week or so.
Chris and Patrick were truly one of the most influential people in James' entire career, and life altogether. I can't even bring myself to get past the first second because of the knowledge that both people are present in this video, knowing the fate both suffered.
Maybe one day I will be able to rewatch this masterpiece, not only to experience the humor and drama of the plot, but to truly honor the lives of Chris and Patrick and the profound impact they had on this channel and James himself.
Rest in peace to the both of them, and my sincerest condolences go to both of their families and James. Schaffrillas Productions will truly never be the same without Schaffer and Phyrillas to help with future Productions.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that Tamatoa should be able to fly. His wings are to small to get his fat little body off of the ground. Tamatoa, of course, flies anyway, because Tamatoa doesn’t care what humans think is impossible.

This is one of the dumbest greatest things I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t stop laughing all throughout it. Loved seeing all the UA-camrs that made guest appearances and the amount of references had me rolling. Happy one mil, Schaff
