If anyone is trying this and still has trouble. Use a smaller strand of Hair, coat it completely in glue and then wrap it around the cone. Thats much easier and looks nicer and cleaner. because it can be difficult for beginners to handle that much hair at once, and make it look good, also be pacient and if a strand of hair looks messy or gets tangled, remove it and start over with a new one.
Kuro Cosplay & Art if they will use this method they would have to find a different type of glue as this one wouldnt be able to coat the entire piece of hair, its extremely tacky and would just clump up! but yeah this would work if an alternative is available ☺️
I don't plan on cosplaying Ibuki, but I love watching people make videos for her since the characters I enjoy aren't too popular (Korekiyo and Tsumugi,,) but these look awesome!
Hey just so you guys know... Instead of spending a bunch of money on wefts, if your on a budget what I do is make my own wefts out of yarn. There's a bunch of tutorials on the internet and there's even some on how to make entire wigs. I just thought I'd share that because wefts can be pretty expensive
Hello! I added an Ibuki cosplay to my wish list for this Christmas so I'm looking for tips if I do get it, while to thisnis extremely helpful, do we have to add the hair on the cones? I was thinking I could just paint it with the stripes and add a shiny cover on it, would that work?
It depends what you get! They probably won't be thin like Ibuki's. What I would do is order the cones and then sand them down to the size you're looking for!!
possibly in future when i have my room sorted out ive moved out of the place that i did my work in so i need to put a desk in my room and stuff first ill have to see because it takes days to make the horns but if you follow my instagram riotwolf.cos ill put on there when i open commission or something :3
i didnt i just placed them inside the wig and they connected to the ones on the horns but i do suggest placing some foam inside the wig otherwise the magnets can slip through the wig netting ):

Can you use that glue on the end? I don’t have hot glue and could I also use hairspray with it on the end for it to stay
it doesnt really work maybe try superglue if it doesn’t stay down
Sorry for the question but how tall are the cones? ^^"
