I've always said that if I went to New Zealand, I'd walk the paths they walked in the LOTR movies. Not sure how close you two were to those areas but I imagine they probably used this Lake for some of the filming with as large as it is and having so many surrounds mountains.
We’ve visited Hobbiton last time (there is an earlier video from there), and we visited Mount Doom and Gollum’s Pool this time! Those two viseos will be coming in the next couple of weeks 😊

First time i visited lake taupo, i wqs in my mother's belly. Funny that theres a pregnant lady mountain there
I love watching rich people have a good time while I slave away at my job, knowing full well I will never have a holiday like this.
