Low budget being a mini drama.😅
In low budget mini dramas, they probably rent from a clothing store.
You will also get to see a recycled wedding ring that had been used in other mini dramas.
Apartments, houses, furniture, cars, restaurant venues, locations, besides the cast of the extras, too.
Understandable when you realized that it is a low budget mini dramas.
These mini dramas are churned out within weeks unlike those major dramas that took months...depending on the number of episodes.😅
So, I don't expect much from it in view of their circumstances.
They did a good job with this.... I admit that I almost didn't watch this, but the actors portrayed their characters so well that I got fully engaged...
Loved this...I am a fan of intense romance where there is less cutness and more intensity between the couple...where they are equally protective of eachother against the evil, plus such good skinship and kisses

This is the 2nd drama with this FL and ML together. Their chemistry is so good.❤❤ Although ML was rude at the beginning but FL's love slowly changed him. ML doesn't let anyone bully his wife (other than himself 😂) and ofcourse the formal confession 👌 love to see more dramas from them❤

這個故事是我看的第三對CP演出了，這對是顏值跟演技最好的
This is the 3rd version of this story I've seen and the first one that hasn't literally put me to sleep. Admittedly the FL is my fave actress for these dramas so I would watch just for her anyway. That said, this version is a bit different, and it's not as drawn out. In this version the ML doesn't have a brother that's in love with the FL and working behind the scenes to manipulate everything. He's an only child instead. The FL's family/ex doesn't appear throughout to drag unnecessary drama as well. The actor that plays the ML also does a wonderful job of balancing crazy and vulnerable. He does not take the crazy too over the top like the other portrayals I've seen. There's also enough skinship in this version to keep it interesting. The other versions of this story are 3 hours plus and that's mainly because they insert unnecessary family members, the FL's mom was killed so that's also a mystery to solve and there are way too many scenes showing how ruthless and violent the ML is including when he puts a gun to the FL's head and threatens to kill her cuz he thinks she betrayed him with his brother. In this version, the ML is far less toxic and the couple is more balanced. He's still a bit ruthless and unhinged at times, but I don't think there's actually any part where it's believable that he would kill the FL. He's just testing her to see if she's actually blind. I also like that the father admitted his mistakes and wasn't forgiven whereas in the other versions he never apologized and actually tried to force the FL to leave the ML after giving birth instead. This version seemed to simplify the story which was definitely to its benefit and the added flashbacks of them meeting as kids was a cute addition as well. Also, IMO, the FL was definitely the smartest out of everyone and that is very rare to see in these dramas.

Yes, I confess, this is one of the scripts I like and yes, I like the intense and dark ones. The acting in this version was very good. The ML actor stayed true to character till the very end - well done! Recap with spoilers: FL boyfriend sells the FL to ML for one night - why, I do not know. She gets pregnant and marries the ML who thinks, that she has set him up (drugged him). The ML has a very tortured past, he is NOT a nice person, very violent, feared and neglected. FL is not a doormat, she has a spine and in order to escape the ML she tells him continuously how much she likes him, hoping, that he will let his guard down and she can leave with her child. However, she changes him - he feels, that somebody cares for him for the first time in his life even if it is just a lie in the beginning. With time, they really fall in love and he changes from psycho to tsundere teddybear. This is worth the watch - for the script (if you like the light comedy ones, this might not be for you) and for the actors!
How far into the drama does ML remain abusive? I want to get a feel for whether I can watch or should skip it. I can stomach to an extent but only so far.
This is not an "abusive husband" drama - I hate those and I do not watch those. There is no crazy mistress, there is no rape (he was drugged in the beginning), no imprisonment, slapping etc. You can see pretty early on, that he cares for her. So in my opinion it is a good watch.@@RorekGWolfe
This is a safe one. Even the times he has his hand on her throat, she pushes his hand away after scowling at him. He is a survivor that learned to be scary but he has a heart from the very beginning. It's just hidden. @@RorekGWolfe
The male we see the FL with in the beginning is exploiting her for money on the premise that he has given her food, shelter and clothing and now she owes him, or so he says. My guess is that the who's behind it is the ML's father since he repeatedly refers to her as simply a vessel to carry on the family bloodline and she had a high status prior to her family being killed in a fire and that she will be discarded once they are finished using her. The father also told FL's assistant her fate would be the same.
Please any recommendation ( intense and dark )

this was different, cuz i didnt bother about evil characters much. I just enjoyed the progress in ML and FL's character and growth in their relationship with time. Actors did a great job. 👍
This dude is the most gangsta of all the ML I have seen so far. Ii like it. Ha ha ha. Unlike the other suave CEOs, he is rough around the edges and totally ruthless. But the FL is a good match. She is brains to his brawn and although he didn’t trust her at first because of his childhood, she won him over and there was so much heat between them, I’m surprised anyone else around them aren’t singed! 😂🤣

Sometimes, we watch the drama to see if there is a new plot and then we find out it is the same plot, but we continue because the actor/actress do a pretty good job at portraying the character. On the other hand, we also watch the drama because the storyline is good, but when the acting is bad, we just couldn't it.
In this case, both main leads did a good job in portraying the character...it could have been shorter and cut some unnecessary scenes that are predictable.

This is one of my favourite I love these to together there chemistry and at least there kiss each other. He so vicious in this but when it comes to her he naughty and love to tease her. nice version of this troupe. personally, I like the pretty actors.
Not bad. The chemistry is good and this is the type of plot I like. Chen Xiangmin is reliably good and the ML is nice to look at.
This is the lightest version of this plot I’ve seen, and it’s pretty good. In a lot of ways it was “light” compared to the other two. It had less intensity, less cast, less locations and some lighter plot points (knowing each other as kids, him having a “love brain”, trying to make her jealous, and skimming over his illiteracy to name a few).
I think if I had seen this first I might like it more, but I actually think the darker version has more depth to the ML (that dude was actually scary and I felt like the FL was walking a tightrope with him) and to me, a more engaging plot with less clichés. Also, things that in this version you were told, in the other version you observed. For example his emotional intelligence, in this version you hear an internal dialogue or the the assistant says something. But in the other you would see him be less scary or becoming progressively protective of the FL, so it was up to the audience to realize that he was redeemable and not a total monster. Neither way is bad, just different styles of storytelling.
Also, here I felt like the FL’s blindness could have used a bit of work. You’d think that if she’d been blind then she’d have been better at being fake blind.
Anyway, like I said, this is pretty good, but if you find this one kind of dark, then you might want to skip the other two versions because they only get darker. 🙂

FL demanding ML's father apologize is my favorite scene. Beyond the story is a man dealing with severe PTSD, neglect, abuse and just plain torture. Our FL is the salve he needs to have joy in life. There is another version that is quite a bit darker than this one. I prefer this version due to the gentleness of the FL and the ML is more hurt than insane.

This was a pretty good series. The fl was smart and the ml was strong, two different attributes but they come together nicely. I liked that ml's character didn't change too much towards the end, he's still the same (albeit a little kinder) person. I hate when writers wanna make an evil character too good (and change their whole personality) for a woman. Two points I didn't like: One, when fl was pretending to be blind, she didn't blink. Blind people blink! People need their eyeballs to be sufficiently lubricated or else it'll be dry af. And two, I would've liked to see him actually learn how to read and write Chinese characters. She knew he couldn't read why didn't she teach him? Other than these two grievances I enjoyed the story a lot. The leads were amazing ❤

Worth a watch! If you are looking for an easy way to spend two hours I would encourage you to watch. For the drama itself, I will give an 8/10 and the account holder a strong 6/10 (I need to see more from her).
The account holder did a fairly good job editing. The transitions were relatively smooth and the was an actual ending. However, there were some missing closed captions and at times some odd/annoying music playing in the background, but all in all the FL, ML, and supporting actors did a good job. One of the better plots.

Enfin, nous avons en la personne de Mr. Wang Bo un acteur qui joue le rôle de bad boy avec talent et une pointe d'humour. Il n'est pas seulement beau mec, il a ce côté macho qui lui permet d'interpréter avec intensité ce personnage tourmenté et violent. A noter aussi la bonne alchimie entre les protagonistes, qui sont très bien assortis : beaux tous les deux et bons acteurs. Le résultat est un drame qui vaut le détour et mérite d'être revu une deuxième fois. Je trouve que les deux méritent d'interpréter des drames avec un scénario plus élaboré...
男女主很有CP感，不過可惜是配音，更喜歡甄子琦版因為是原音❤而且是低音炮😂
