  • I have had this Jade plant in the front yard forever. We have cut it up in the past and used it in arrangement as well as made new plants in my yard. Looking for a more sculptural look, so I decide why not try bonsai.
    Thanks for watching😘😘🌵🌵

    I'm going to preface what I'm about to say with:
    You did a great job, beautiful work!
    But I must say, First: you did not 'bonsai' the plant. You pruned it, and made it more aesthetically pleasing.
    Second: If you took the cuttings to someone who knew about bonsai, they would have paid hundreds for them... I almost cried when you said you were waiting for the trash man.
    I paid 200 for mine because someone did a little wiring and put it in a nice pot. Next time please talk to an enthusiast and let the cutting live a second life.

    • @Sarahleanned
      @Sarahleanned  4 роки тому +3

      Thank you. You are correct, this wasn’t technically bonsai but more pruning. Wow!! $200 for a bonsai Jade, I’m sure it looks amazing. That’s interesting about the wiring, I have more plants I’ll have to look into doing that with. Here in San Diego, there is no shortage of this type of Jade. I’m very fortunate to live in the succulent land of milk and honey for sure.
