It depends on a few variables... if ikin is used, you should conplete it within 3 days. If opele is used, 16 days. Also, the occassion is an influencer. Was it during initiation or a general consultation? Either way, these are all best practices, not iron clad laws. I personally recommend that you intend and prepare to conplete the sacrifice that very same day.
