Mark’s particular phrasing has, like Jimmy Raney’s, always been immediately recognizable to me & I love it.

I have just seen and heard this tremendous guitarist for the first time, how is it possible that he is nothing known? . I've never seen it on lists or associated with anyone, it's amazing. What a tone and what phrasing!

Seems like his D'aquisto guitar is just getting to expensive to carry these days.
