Still pretty clumsy. We've switched to Google Meet from Zoom with Google Workspace for Education and our instructors and students are still trying to get used to this picture in picture steps--is there a way to make it automatic?

There used to be a straightforward feature with a pop up option "slide show" after sharing Google Slides in Google Meet, which also allowed to navigate through the slides while seeing all attendees, very handy when using a single screen. This worked in Chrome. Can you bring this back???

I want to keep everyone else from showing on the screen as one person is talking. I have a person who teaches us Hebrew, but I am the one who set up the meeting from my computer and he will give the lesson. even though I pin him, everyone else still shows in the recording when they say something. how can I keep only our teacher on the screen even when others post questions?

But it becomes awkward to change the slides everytime. So everytime you go to your slide and change and then again share and then again click on picture in picture? Why cant we change the slides from the shared screen and simultaneously see our participants without doing all that you explained in the video? Can someone please help

It would be nice if you could just make the LIST OF ATTENDEES a floating window AND still see chat or other things. I honestly feel like to get everything I need I need 2 monitors and a tablet. I HATE using google meet, how much did you pay the school district to force g-suite on us??
