Google Home Nest Thermostat Offline

Your nest thermostat is connected but google home shows offline. Restarting nest device fixing it for a day or so. Google home shows offline again. If this is your case then this is the permanent solution for you.

Thanks for this video. This was the issue I was experiencing where every couple days it would go offline in the app even though the thermostat showed it was still on. I always restart to fix but then it disconnects again. My router was setup with a 24 hour DHCP lease time but Google says to have it over 2 hours. I changed it to the 2 hours (7200 seconds) and I hope it will keep the router on the network. I'll reply to this with results. Cheers!!
