A lot of depth here and talent in acting and writing, it all fits together perfectly. They have combined drama with humor for a expression of reality, we don't get from the news. Much appreciated. As with any art, the observer will see it through their own lens, but they are peeling away the layers of this administration and this is good for American health. Kate and writers, the collective, has a window on Conway, which gives a unique and deep understanding. Sad, creepy, funny and philosophical all at the same time. Sad, because although this is humor, it is not far from the truth.

One of my FAVORITES is DANA CARVEY!!! The series wasnt doing too well and he basically made it "the show to watch" again AND i THINK he is one of the main actors who are responsible for the political satire taking off. Him and Mike Myers in WAYNES WORLD were brilliant to me so you can add Mike myers to the list! They even were able to make 2 movies based on their characters from SNL ..thats always amazed me when that happens. ...Jimmy fallon, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphey, Tim Kazurinsky, Chris Farley, Christopher Walken, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Tracy Morgan, Kristen Wigg are some of the actors i know did pretty good recurring characters that i can think of but there are idk a hundred more? haha Sorry for the long post ..i got excited hahaha
kmaezz I love everything about your comment haha!! Snl is pretty rad. Still though, recurring characters isn't necessarily the same as a story arc or having a movie. With kellyanne, they're expanding and developing her character, and her relationship to Tapper, who I guess is basically a stand in for the media as a whole. Over the course of this season, we are coming back to the continuing Kellyanne adventure, kinda like how South park has been doing its last two seasons.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery and someone like KA enjoys being on tv more than anything, regardless of subtext or viciousness. My all time favorite SNL skit. And Kate McKinnon cemented her legendary status with the Kellyann Conway character.
I haven't watched much SNL since the 90's, but Kate McKinnon was fucking brilliant (and sexy as hell) here - this is one of the best SNL skits ever.
The acting in this is incredible. Both Kate and Beck were amazing.
