Dr. Irshad Kamil is an Indian poet and lyricist. His songs appear in Bollywood films including Jab We Met, Chameli, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Laila Majnu, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhanaa, Highway, Tamasha, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Kabir Singh and Love Aaj Kal.
डॉ. इरशाद कामिल एक भारतीय कवि और गीतकार हैं। उनके गाने जब वी मेट, चमेली, लव आज कल, रॉकस्टार, लैला मजनू, आशिकी 2, रांझणा, हाईवे, तमाशा, जब हैरी मेट सेजल, कबीर सिंह और लव आज कल सहित बॉलीवुड फिल्मों में दिखाई देते हैं।
Sahityotsav Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Kaarva'n Virasat Shimla Edition on 10th and 11th December, 2023 at Gaiety Theatre, The Mall Road was a hugely successful cultural program supported by Department of Language and Culture, Himachal Pradesh Government. The program included Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan, Ghazal Singing, Rajasthani Folk Singing, Poetry, Dastangoi, Stand-up Comedy, Panel Discussions. From OTT Actors to Padma Shri Artists to regional artists all added shine to the stage.
Kavi Sammelan is a gathering of poets in the Hindi Belt of northern India. The participants recite their poetry to each other and have a general discussion on literary issues. This may take place among the poets but is mostly done before an audience.
