So grateful and glad to have your audience experience the open-minded wisdom & knowledge we Trinity members get on any given Sunday. And though his bio may read “Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III” - which, based on your repetition of such, may seem intriguing-- we just call him “Pastor Moss,” plain and simple. As for explanation: “Reverend” is the title in his employment, (i.e. “Professor Hunter”), “Dr.” reflects his degree (i.e. “Dr. Carr,” -- those in other disciplines may simply have their titles followed by “Ph.D”) and perhaps, because it is rare these days for a man to be named directly after his own grandfather, “The Third” may be perceived as an extra sense of officiality. It’s no different than Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (note - this is in no way comparing personalities nor influence, simply titles). Nevertheless, I’m heartened to see his valuable perspective shared & elevated. Peace.

So glad that Dr. Moss and his group made it back safely. The Black Jesus in the white church is similar to me telling my white neighbor in the summer that my Mother didn't give us white dolls PERIOD, which is why Barbie was useless to me. In both cases, they couldn't take it! TUCC employees helped my late sister when she had a flat tire in the early 80s, w/two young daughters in the car with her. Right on the 95th St. tracks westbound; they never fixed tracks in Black neighborhoods back then. It was a weekday; the congregants were SO helpful; took the girls to the playroom, let her call who she needed to call, a caring place. Finally - the hip-hop question: it was an obviously deliberate transfer of relevant societal commentary to the uselessness of topics that are proliferating now. You can only blame the music companies for waving a few dollars in a young brothers face who's never seen that much $$ in his life, and those who've made it not coming back to get him. Ase'! -- @Ms_Butler

Karen Hunter, you have asked me in the past for my references for my comments, my sources. I've listened to at least 10 minutes from Rev. Otis Moss III. Respect. I continue to like my perspective because it's authentic. No references. Rev. Moss talked about his visit to Jericho. That was the first town the Israelites conquered when they crossed the Jordan River into Israel. Jericho is ancient Israel. Please keep in mind that there are about 9 million Jews living in the land of Israel which is about the size of New Jersey. There are about 1 billion Muslims living in at least 22 countries on land which combined is about as large as the United States - maybe larger. Blacks live on the entire continent of Africa. You and Rev. Moss III talk about DIVERSITY a lot, but I don't hear about diversity for Jews. Jews have a 100% right to their land and to govern it as they choose because they are a sovereign nation. DIVERSITY includes the Jewish state in the human collective.

My best friend is not getting or even commenting on this war. Between Palestinians and Israel. Especially with all the deaths and uprising atrocities taken place in Africa, white folks either turn away from or America just doesn't care. I'm not saying she doesn't have a good heart. But as she puts it, where is the empathy for Black lives, or are African sisters and brothers. My bestie makes an excellent true point. Let me add, my sister calls Africa, Eden. As she puts it. Africa is the Mother Land where we all stem from. Let me state for the record. I have been saying for years. Everyone wants to be white now, Hispanics, Chinese, Puerto ricans, the Irish, and the list goes on. Most white folks aren't as white as they want you to believe. 💯
PS: America says how can we give Reperations and where would we get the money. Well, you do the same as you have done for Isreal and Ukraine. Oh, we have the money. Biden, like all other presidents. It's wasn't a priority. Obama had the chance, he had eight years to get it right. Instead it was more important for him to legalize gay marriage. Even though Black Americans put him in office. 😒

So, this explains somewhat how and why our people are viewed with the contempt that we witness daily. Not to mention the melanin issue.

I promise you, the Bible hits different when you read it at home, than when you are being read to in church. The church will never tell you to turn to the books of Numbers. That book is the Most High instruction to the chosen on how to conduct themselves when HE bring them into their land. and How to treat their neighbors. Numbers 33:41 is concerning the boundaries. Netyahoo tried to flip the script to fool the very elect. The most High instructed Isreal to kill man women and child, and the animals that inhabited the land because they were giant; serpent seeds. You know!...seed of the falling angles. Once you comprehend the book of Numbers you will never be deceived. A hard read, but must read
