Classic 1975 Claas Senator 85 combine | Combine Harvesters DVD | Pure sound

A very tidy 1975 Claas Senator 85 making short work of winter wheat on a dull afternoon in 2009. Claas launched the original Senator in 1966, and updated models were introduced in the mid-70s. The Senator 85 was the largest model in a range of three and was powered by a 105hp Perkins A6.354 or Mercedes-Benz engine. This one is fitted with a 12ft cut header and Cab-Craft cab.
