    Ah this was so interesting to me, as coming thursday evening I will participate in a smelling session of 8 Iris perfumes via a zoom meeting. I am blind sampling them right now. It’s hosted by a perfumeshop (they sell mostly niche brands) from Amsterdam. I will direct everybody to this channel and video to learn more about Orris in perfume! So thank you so much again Mr. P 😊 also to Remi for educating us on this wonderful stuff 💜👌

      @@Persolaise I did, it was very nice! Got to know quite a few more iris/orris perfumes, like Orris Tattoo, Pour un Homme le Soir, Iris des Champs and Nuée Bleu. Didn't change my most favourite though: No 19 💚💚💚 Also, I tipped everyone to check out your channel and in particular these sessions about fragrance materials with Remi 👍😉

    Thank you Dariush and Remi for this new Masterclass! I always appreciate watching those videos. It reminds me of my perfume training classes a few years back.

    Last summer I bought a bottle of Maison Margiela - Replica Under the Lemon Trees at La Fayette. It caught me instantly even I knew it is synthetic, the duration on my skin is short. On textile over 24h, on metal even longer. Gorgeous development.
    I love the Idea of a good quality bergamot, mandarin, verbena and iris patch/scent hugged by a little touch of tuberose. The passion and the technique to extract the "perfect", the living molecular aura of a smell is worth the money compared to every synthetic replica. Thank you both for your conversation, me learning humble 🙏🏿❤️🌸

      Mr. Persolaise do you have read yourself into the field of
      Olfactory receptors (ORs), which are spread all over our bodies and organs. A master bridge between influencing inflammation and lowering inflammation in the body, was first in this correlation discovered in I think 2018 by a German research team?

    • @bokoler9107
      @bokoler9107 Рік тому

      Don't nail me, I think it was apricot they discovered in a trial that it instantly decreased inflammation of the bronchial and lung systemic organ apparatus.

      @@bokoler9107 Wow! I'll have to look into this. Thank you!

      "Banana-apricot scent dilates bronchioles
      The newly discovered receptors in muscle cells are named OR2AG1 and OR1D2. The researchers also identified the activating odorous molecules as well as the signalling pathways that are triggered in the cells.
      Amyl butyrate, a fruity scent with banana and apricot notes, stimulates the OR2AG1 receptor."

    I love being educated and this series of videos certainly does that. I think it would be great for Les Indemodables to make a perfume that combines the beautiful ambergris from Ambre Supreme and the orris from Iris Perle. I'm sure it would be expensive, but I bet it would be worth it.

    I love mandarine. So learnative these videos. Thank you very much! And I wear today coincidentally Prada L'homme EDP. So lovely soft Iris and musk. The Cool Water Intense has green mandarine from Brazil and it smells great. Too heavy on ambroxan (it becomes softer after maceration) but still this is an underrated gem in the frag community. Thank you again for these videos. Greetings from Holland.🌷

    great interview. I learned a lot. the big question I have is this: did Dior and Prada kill the orris supply chain by creating too much demand, or did the supply chain of orris collapse because these two houses discontinued their biggest iris fragrances? Or is my question too reductive?

    • @Persolaise
