Very useful all the examples you show in the video!!!!
Wait, you did it again!
I needed an INDEX and MATCH result to display a hyperlink found on a different worksheet. Without the proper syntax, the hyperlink is not carried over. As you explain at 7:07, by adding "=HYPERLINK(...." to the syntax, it now works. Your are amazing in that you not only know Excel inside and out, you explain things so succinctly. 5 stars from me!!!

Hey great videos! Is there a way to add a link to the next and previous sheet on every sheet automatically? (So on e.g. sheet 4 you would have a link to sheet 3 and 5, and so on)
Hi Leila! I love your videos. Do you have a video on why and when to use certain markings (colon, parenthesis, exclamation) in a formula? This is what confuses me, not knowing why to use these things
Wonderful Leila...Thanks so much.

Leila, you are a wonderful teacher! I have easily learned so much from you. I do however, have a question: In my spreadsheet I have inserted a picture of each asset, and created a hyperlink with the picture so that when it is clicked the folder is opened so all related pictures can be viewed. What I would like to know is if there is a way to open the picture viewer or slideshow for these pictures automatically? Thank you for all you do!
Thank you!
Brilliant. I am your biggest fan.
OMG Leila you ROCKED... the one I personally love is the hyperlink formula :) at 05:48 a big WOW !!

Thanks Leila very informative. I use Hyerlinks to link to external files on my hard drive from text in a cell. I would like to use a similar function to your description using Hyperlink and Vlookup but it doesn't seem to work with file linking, no problems with the URL. Any ideas ? Thanks again
I could not find out how to change the default font for hyperlinks until this video (4:53). Thank you, Leila!!!

Hello Leila. Is there a way to change the hyperlink setting? I would prefer to double click the link instead of single click to get to the link. Thank you

Super awesome! Thank you for sharing!
You're very welcome Eric. Glad you like it.
Leila
Thanks for your information. I made a dropdown list with Data Validation but the hyperlink is gone when it come to the dropdown list.
Is there any way we can get the droplist clickable without VBA?!
Eric
Your Excel video are giving great learning.
I need to know is there any way in excel that we could change the name format like, if in excel its written as Walsh, Whitney Rodriguez and i need it in correct format Whitney Rodriguez Walsh then how i could do or if i want the Walsh in one cell and first name initial in another cell (W of Whitney) how could i do it simultaneously ?
Thanks for video!
You're very welcome.

Great Hyperlinks lesson!
Glad you find the tutorial useful.
Thanks for this, but my problem is that, no matter what approach i choose, i'm not able to open a specific sheet in a different workbook using a hyperlink. Tried various methods that I could find online, but it always defaults to the last saved sheet in the destination workbook instead of the sheet specified in the hyperlink
Thanks Leila. A beautiful presentation it is
My pleasure. I'm glad you like the video.
hi! is it possible to use hyperlink function when clicking a shape or image?
Dang, great video.
Thanks a lot
Really useful! Many thanks Leila 😃
My pleasure Roberto. Glad you find the tutorial helpful.
Thanks 👍
Hello Leila, as always your videos and the explanations and instructions are far better than anything I have seen so far. One thing I have Office 365 and using Excel in Share environment, I am not able to follow the same instructions since it's different. How do I create Links in Boxes where I have so many tabs. I can't seem to find anything on it online and even when I copy the link from a tab and place it in a cell in different tab, all it does opens the same workbook instead of taking me to the tab I am looking for. Please advise. thank you
The Hyperlink function returns "Cannot open the specified file" even though if I click on the hyperlink on its own (type it in a cell) excel opens it up?
Excellent l am glad to see it, l like your work thanks a lot
I love the e-mail function and the fact to can add a standard subject. Is there a way to add standard text to the e-mail?
Amazing...
Thanks leila i want to learn from u more regarding this hyperlinks
Great video!
Thank you Chris. Glad you like it.
Great Video thanks! But is there a way to use the hyperlink function with Vlookup so that when the URL is pulled from another sheet in the workbook it becomes a 'static' hyperlink on the current sheet? This way when I convert the document to PDF for email distribution, I want them to be able to click a friendly named hyperlink in that PDF which directs them to the web page to view an item.
Thanks for the video! Is there a way to unnamed a list of hyperlinked cells that you have named (like you’ve typed “click here” for an entire list if web addresses) so that you end up with a list of those addresses rather than a list of names?
thanks thanks thank you a lot madam........
no words ...........
i am fan of your videos
I was working on project where I wanted to create hyperlinks using the hyperlink formula and some index-match combinations so that the links stays dynamic even after I add/delete rows.
But after trying to create PDF using revu bluebeam all the links were disabled.
As a solution I tried creating links using the hyperlink button from insert tab and this time it worked. But this time it wasn't dynamic.
I'm not sure why there a difference in the two methods, also why is the formula derived not working in pdf while the manually created one is still.
Currently I'm trying to implement the same using Macros but would like to hear about your option on this.
If you try to export the same excel file and try clicking on the internal links (here it's some transpose sheet), it might not work.
Hi, Nice video Hyperlink

is there a way to include a hyperlink and additional text (without hyperlink) in the same cell?
Thank you. I'm having a peculiar problem: When I click on my hyperlinks I'm getting an error message
"Unable to open www.•••YEAR&support=ADVANCED&quantity=1 Cannot locate ln.
Why is this?
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
MS Office 2011 (for mac)
Thanks Leila. That was very Interesting. :)
My pleasure John! Glad you like the video.
So I have hosted training classes at work for co-workers to learn Excel. I think I did alright, though I am not very inexperienced with teaching and I have resorted to developing interactive workbooks to help them develop themselves when they have the opportunity/free time,. In one of my documents, I have links to several sites that provide examples & explanations for every type of formula, but I feel that your videos are far more effective at explaining how each function works. So I will be including links to your videos in my files. I just want to say thank you, because even as my employer sees me as a pro with Excel, you have proven that I still have so much more to learn. Keep up the great work and I will do what I can to support/promote your channel.
Thank you very much for your support Scott!
As usual Leila madam always rocks ...
