So glad to see someone else has the need, desire, passion to clean up leaves. My neighbors think im crazy but boy my yatd and driveway sure looks good when done! Wish Santa drops off one of Buffalo Turbines under my Xmas tree. Great video as always. Thanks Autumn & Doug!
I just randomly discovered this machine on reddit today, and decided to find some videos of it. The ones the actual company released are terrible. 30-second video clips with no sound or information; your video is so much better. This thing is pretty cool. I'd love to see it do snow removal in this longer video format.
Good Afternoon Doug, that was an excellent boots on the ground demonstration episode, of course you added a little Dougification Factor in with the modification, well done. Now that will answer the question of “ How Many Leaves Could Doug Blow, If Doug Could Blow Leaves”, your Property is Beautiful and I can definitely see the savings in the labour and the final WOW Factor. I would venture to guess it would blow an applicable amount of snow off the driveway in the winter also. 😀👍👍👍
OK, I thought when you unloaded your old blower and said you wanted this ride-a-long that you were just being a spoiled brat wanting a new toy (I know I would). Maybe that's a part of it but in all honesty you were spot on with your expectations of this ride-a-long. That thing rocks and when you have as much area as you have it's really an essential piece of equipment if you want to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Good purchase, Doug!
That looks like a great blower and like so much fun! Congratulations Doug! I love blowing leaves too but I just have a Stihl BR800C and an Echo PB8010T for my small city lot with large trees.
Doug, you have more toys than anybody I know. The interesting thing is that you really know how to use them well. I saw the one that you sold to Mike Morgan but boy this is a lot better. Anyway, stay safe healthy and warm. Bill H from Cranberry Township
That is killer Doug! That makes it so much easier to move leaves. Thanks for doing the bike trails too! My only suggestion, if you are not carrying a mask with you, I think it would be a good idea in case the wind shifts on you. Thanks Doug!
Easiest question Doug ever answered in his life: “Would you like that in the 26 or the 40 HP model?” Makes me wish I had more property just so I could get one!
After manually raking for 4 hours yesterday, this is a dream. Not a big enough property for this to make sense$$$, but cleaning the yard up in 30 minutes sure looks good 👍
Awesome machine. You could probably come up with your own gutter attachment contraption to really get a jet bast up and into the gutters - but that could cause a mess too. Probably better to just do the leaf filter system.
17 THOUSAND 😂😂😂😂 that’s over twice the price of a brand new fully loaded exmark with all the bells and whistles, warranty, insurance and extra blades/batteries. Holy crap
Hell for 17,000 I can buy a few backpack blowers and pay the neighborhood kids to blow leaves for about 5 years 😂. Shit, I could a hire an actual landscaper to do it at that point lol
Great video. I was considering a billygoat until watching your video. I was not aware the buffalo turbine had a ride on. If you have a chance, I asked a few direct questions on your Instagram page.
That is definitely the “next level”! BTW - you are responsible for my wife’s cold coffee this morning. Got lost in the video and forgot to tell her that it was ready… that’s my story & I’m sticking with it 😂.
Oh, and that front-direction nozzle is the bees knees. I often thought when looking at those side-direction blowers it would be nice if they blew forward to get through narrow paths or between structures, etc. Nice tweak for that unit.
That thing is definitely impressive. I think you should have called me for the road trip to buy the other one instead of Mike though lol. We’ll have to get down there one day for a visit to check out some of the equipment you have amassed! Love it.
Once you outgrow that machine, you can get yourself one of those jet engine blowers they use to dry NASCAR tracks after a rain. 😅 I am wondering if a nozzle that has air inlets around the perimeter would increase the volume of air blowing out by drawing additional air in with a Venturi.
Doug, guess that's why your channel is called....One eyed customs! You seem to find a way to improve or 'customize' products and equipment!... Good stuff! I like it, but I gotta use a lawn rake and a tarp!😂
That's awsome...I through they would have an attachment for the nozzle for a smaller diameter to have more air velocity but any it's doing an excellent job
Nice informative video on the Blitz.. I have the buffalo 3 point blower for leaves and it works great. I can see the advantages of the Blitz with changing the angles slightly when blowing which is difficult to do with the tractor rear mount. I bet it can get the job done in close to half the time. I have a question though, how much more effective is the actual leaf blowing volume with the 40 hp versus the tractor mount you had.? It appears from your video they are somewhat similar in how much volume and distance it blows the leaves?
That thing is a beast. For a rail trail I’d rather have something between the standard nozzle and the straight ahead one. Since you have to go up and back I’d rather go down one side and be able to blow the leaves further off to the side of the trail and into the woods. Then do the other side on the way back. Either way that looks like a ton of fun.
Would be nice to have a reversible option for vacuuming and mulching...Like a snowblower for leaves. Or a vacuum that multches and then blows them aside
The 26hp engine will blow the same amount of leaves as the 40hp engine. They crank rotates at the same rpm creating the same air flow. There's no extra load on the blower to need extra power. Remove the suspension and add a couple of weights.
Better then a backpack absolutely, however it's exponentially more expensive then a backpack blower. Kinda like saying a fighter jet is better then a cesna 172 🤣🤣🤣
I didn't realize they could float the sports balls like that lmao. I've built quite a few of them and test every single one that leaves the shop. Very fun and snappy machine!
@OneEyeCustoms Yes. I'm a lead production assembler. I assembled like the first 60 of those machines. But I'm currently onto building our newest kb7 model mostly right now
Cool machine. I have the Scag windstorm, and as impressive as the Windstorm is, This looks to be even more powerful. I can't find any specs on the Buffalo Turbine. Do you know the CFM or windspeed?
That is one nice machine, and I watch Mike at OWTM's and he loves the one you sold him. Does the turbine blow all the time or can you shut it off if not needed while riding? Stay safe.
Hi Doug i wanted to get something like that and try to clean up my community are there machines like that for sale i have a ton of leaves in my neighborhood that need blowing and a bunch of leaf blowers won't help the process
You should angle the nozzle UP and get all the leaves off of the TREES first, THEN blow the leaves off the ground. That way, you only need to do it ONCE!
Just spent 10 hours picking up my leaves! I've been looking at a Ferris stand on blower. I got a Ventrac last year with the leaf vac. I love the "just mulch them" comment. Those people don't have 12" deep leaves! I hate them all in my shop.
Being that Mike Morgan also has a Mini Skid I wonder if he can adapt his rear mount blower to the Mini and his will also be like yours. Food for Thought.
How does the sun not hit that yard? Also where do you put all the leaves? Do you just leave piles of leaves on the edge of your property? Who owns the property you blow the leaves on to? I think you could use a mulcher instead because you look like you have plenty of sun.
The sales guy sold him this based on how easily he's impressed by buttons and levers.
I live in a condo, but I still want one.

Going to need to see a winter video now with how well it blows snow off your driveway.

Excellent presentation. Thank you.
That machine is incredible. Super maneuverable and the power that thing has is something. Looks perfect for your property.
That gravel driveway looks alot more soothing to the eye than solid urban jungle concrete slab

Cool piece of equipment, I watch Mike’s channel too and that 3 point blower does a great job as well.👍👍🇺🇸

Terrific vid neighbor. This was a great introduction to leaf blowing on an industrial scale.
Great video Doug and Autum love the trail attachment idea.

What a great machine. Love the front blower attachment you devised.
Great video.
That's amazing. I bet Autumn enjoyed the leaves blowing into her face 😂You definitely needed something like that with the size of your property.
Good introduction/demonstration video 👍 It looks like a solid, powerful machine 😊
